AI, in this case, refers to LLMs, GPT technology, and anything listed as "AI" meant to increase market valuations.

I wonder. Does that made this community a terrorist organization?

I think I'll go with "Epstein List Intelligence".

[–] kaotic@lemmy.world 3 points 4 hours ago

He's lost his mind...

[–] Fmstrat@lemmy.world 2 points 5 hours ago

Technically, the name of the community agrees with the statement.

[–] MehBlah@lemmy.world 1 points 4 hours ago

I don't use that term much because there is no intelligence at work that isn't derived straight from human intelligence.

[–] CedricWhaley@lemmy.dbzer0.com 24 points 10 hours ago

If trump doesn't consider you an enemy at this point, you're a terrible person.

[–] psycholocomotor@lemmy.world 1 points 4 hours ago

Another day, another great joke.

I don't like this "tax the bourgeoisie" stuff, it's giving social democrat, and like, this obviously cannot be accomplished legally through the state, it'll just never be allowed to happen legally. The premise of no taxes, but for billionaires already is advocating for overthrowing the government and creating a new one, because there's just no other way to accomplish such a thing. If we can do that, then how about we just don't have billionaires or millionaires. This is just a convoluted way of saying we should seize the means of production and put them in the control of a worker's state, BUT THROUGH TAXES, so you don't have to mention socialism.

[–] Nagrom@lemmy.ca 5 points 8 hours ago

I’m the enemy of the not so United States.

[–] jjs@lemmy.world 4 points 7 hours ago

I don't even call it Artificial Intelligence because they are unintelligent LLMs

[–] thethunderwolf@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 8 hours ago
[–] lemmy_outta_here@lemmy.world 10 points 11 hours ago

What I love about this is that the senile orange fart bag will almost certainly forget his decree in the next few days and go back to calling it AI himself.

[–] Waldowal@lemmy.world 17 points 12 hours ago

We can't even say "AI" anymore? This cancel culture, super-woke bullshit is out of control. /s

[–] hansolo@lemmy.today 3 points 8 hours ago* (last edited 8 hours ago)

All we have is LLMs, generative image models, and ML models anyway.

What kinda idiot says "AI"?

[–] ulkesh@piefed.social 2 points 7 hours ago

So just another weekday.

[–] bedwyr@piefed.ca 2 points 8 hours ago

I have been saying this for a while, it's an llm model, it's not "AI," and will never be "AI," as the hallucinations can't be eliminated, it just can't get to where they are claiming it will go.

Obviously it is still powerful, especially in running half baked surveillance on the populations to make secret social scores on us based on faulty and half baked metrics these self important tech lords come up with.

Obviously though, whomever wrote that wants us to call it like special intelligence was it? I though we were saying challenged now and not special because ableism? Idk.

[–] Doom@lemmy.world 3 points 9 hours ago

Half the people on here call them LLMs anyway. (Not me tho. I still use AI - guess I'm a bad American for using my freedom of speech.)

that's terrorism, I'm reporting you to the relevant authorities.

[–] FreddiesLantern@leminal.space 14 points 15 hours ago

"Highly accepted"

Man, they don't make halogen projectors that strong anymore.

[–] andallthat@lemmy.world 3 points 12 hours ago* (last edited 12 hours ago)

I would be perfectly happy not to hear anyone mention Artificial Intelligence ever again, Donnie!

[–] Jax@sh.itjust.works 17 points 20 hours ago* (last edited 20 hours ago)

This is a distraction, you all should care much more about the fact that he's working with one of the architects of project 2025 to steal the midterms

[–] rockSlayer@lemmy.blahaj.zone 123 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Eh, I'm already considered a terrorist for believing workers should have democracy at work. Nothing special

[–] ThePantser@sh.itjust.works 38 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Same but I think women should have body antonymy and all humans deserve the same rights as any other human.

Nothing says "highly accepted" like having to threaten people into using that idiocy.

Yeah, Trump and/or his family are definitely domain-squatting a bunch of Slovenian TLD domain names that they're hoping to sell for gorillions of dollars in their latest grift. Slovenia's TLD is the .si TLD.

  • Continuing to insist on "SI" of "AI".
  • The way he decided on "Super Intelligence" was from a Truth Social poll where the options were "Super Intelligence", "Supreme Intelligence", and "Superior Intelligence", all of which have the initials "SI".
  • And Melania's Slovenian.

When I first heard someone say the reason for the "SI" thing was that Trump was domain name squatting, it was conjecture. But more and more, everything he does makes it sound like there's no other reasonable explanation for how weird he's acting about it.

[–] Zeppo@sh.itjust.works 2 points 16 hours ago

Oh, there were go. Just more insider trading/self dealing type bullshit.

[–] Bebopalouie@lemmy.ca 18 points 1 day ago (2 children)

More like Smegma Intelligence but I don’t want to insult smegma.

This is too stupid to be their grift.

This carries risk, squatting isn’t cheap, and there’s zero momentum.

They prefer dumbass shit that involves tricking his base.

[–] I_Jedi@lemmy.today 10 points 1 day ago

I believe it's as simple as Trump making it even easier to find out who his followers are. Trumpers say one thing out of loyalty, everyone else says the other. If you're casually talking to a stranger, you'll instantly know what they believe when they mention Trump's phrase. Similarly, Trumpers can use the phrase to quickly show they're on the same side.

(Insert that cartoon about flipping a calendar to 1984)

Suuu-ure, we're all going to do some Ministry of Truth shit on a half a century of scientific literature and media and tech and change everyone's terminology overnight. Because Commander Soft Brain said so. His industry buddies are probably hella sweating right now, but they should have gotten used to it by now.

[–] UltraBlack@lemmy.world 2 points 12 hours ago

In light of recent events we have started a rebrand towards "Open"

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 18 points 1 day ago

He’s fucking nuts

[–] BaraCoded@literature.cafe 10 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

Artificial intelligence, artificial intelligence, ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ( x infinite )

[–] aesthelete@lemmy.world 4 points 20 hours ago (4 children)

Honestly, it's putting me on the verge of self-harm simply because I'm sick of fucking hearing it so much I want to jam a fork in my ear.

I get that this country is the ultimate wank-fest, and this is the thing we have to pull our pud about the most right now, but I'm just so sick of fucking hearing about it. It's been like 3 years of this fucking horseshit.

Like, you guys have already pretty much ruined my career by turning me into a meat proxy, can you at least shut the fuck up about it for a few days?

Newspeak was the official language of ~~Oceania~~ The United States of America and had been devised to meet the ideological needs of ~~Ingsoc~~ MAGA, or ~~English Socialism~~ American Conservatism. In the year ~~1984~~ 2026 there was not as yet anyone who used Newspeak as his sole means of communication, either in speech or writing. The leading articles in 'The Times' were written in it, but this was a TOUR DE FORCE which could only be carried out by a specialist. It was expected that Newspeak would have finally superseded Oldspeak (or Standard English, as we should call it) by about the year 2050. Meanwhile it gained ground steadily, all Party members tending to use Newspeak words and grammatical constructions more and more in their everyday speech. The version in use in ~~1984~~ 2026, and embodied in the Ninth and Tenth Editions of the Newspeak Dictionary, was a provisional one, and contained many superfluous words and archaic formations which were due to be suppressed later. It is with the final, perfected version, as embodied in the Eleventh Edition of the Dictionary, that we are concerned here.

The purpose of Newspeak was not only to provide a medium of expression for the world-view and mental habits proper to the devotees of ~~Ingsoc~~ MAGA, but to make all other modes of thought impossible. It was intended that when Newspeak had been adopted once and for all and Oldspeak forgotten, a heretical thought—that is, a thought diverging from the principles of ~~Ingsoc~~ Maga—should be literally unthinkable, at least so far as thought is dependent on words. Its vocabulary was so constructed as to give exact and often very subtle expression to every meaning that a Party member could properly wish to express, while excluding all other meanings and also the possibility of arriving at them by indirect methods. This was done partly by the invention of new words, but chiefly by eliminating undesirable words and by stripping such words as remained of unorthodox meanings, and so far as possible of all secondary meanings whatever. To give a single example. The word FREE still existed in Newspeak, but it could only be used in such statements as 'This dog is free from lice' or 'This field is free from weeds'. It could not be used in its old sense of 'politically free' or 'intellectually free' since political and intellectual freedom no longer existed even as concepts, and were therefore of necessity nameless. Quite apart from the suppression of definitely heretical words, reduction of vocabulary was regarded as an end in itself, and no word that could be dispensed with was allowed to survive. Newspeak was designed not to extend but to DIMINISH the range of thought, and this purpose was indirectly assisted by cutting the choice of words down to a minimum.

From 1984 by George Orwell. Appendix: The Principles of Newspeak.

Anyone with intelligence is an enemy of the current US.

[–] kalkulat@lemmy.world 5 points 19 hours ago

Now there's some pigfucker intelligence at work!

[–] GreenKnight23@lemmy.world 4 points 18 hours ago

careful who you call your enemy, Donny.

someone might just believe you.

It doesn't take an artificial intelligence to know that being considered an enemy by the Epstein administration is nothing short of a compliment.

[–] jontree255@lemmy.world 24 points 1 day ago (1 children)
[–] ulkesh@piefed.social 1 points 7 hours ago

What a joyous day that will be.

[–] SpruceBringsteen@lemmy.world 25 points 1 day ago

Use the correct term: LLMs.

[–] DarkFuture@lemmy.world 11 points 1 day ago

Am I an enemy of the United States if I think treasonous presidents should be arrested, charged, tried, convicted, and executed?

[–] My_IFAKs___gone@lemmy.world 13 points 1 day ago

And thus was born Superficial Intelligence, a truly fitting term.

[–] CubitOom@infosec.pub 30 points 1 day ago (4 children)

I'm already considered an enemy for being an advocate of human rights. I'm a just continue to call it LLMs or generative models as appropriate.
