Having your military rely on AI is such a stupid fucking move. The datacenters are an easy target. Huge unmovable warehouses that need a fuckton of resources to function and if you manage to slightly damage one of the resources it is basically crippled.
So why would china not love such a descision?

We've mostly done that already. Im not sure whats holding Xi back at this point. From where i sit he could have it if he wanted it. No one to really stop him. It might just be a good propaganda and not a military objective. After watching the war with Iran and the financial troubles in the bond market, china has never looked stronger and more intimidating.
I think once that happens we'll see 2 things.
- an overwhelming infrastructure attack against the US.
- China takes Taiwan.

What concern of the Chinese is it what anybody calls this stuff in English? Much less so what official US government documents call it. This is granting Trump a dumb headline that didn't cost them anything and Xi may have actually got something from 47 during the summit that makes them entertain this bullshit.
