What you're experiencing is uncanny valley.
I hate that i notice it now. When they mispronounced the same word, with the exact same inflection, it just makes me give up on the video.
There's just something about a real human talking that makes me connect with the material more.
Mostly with interactive AI, because they usually come off as either rude or obsequious. That’s when I turn it off.

Yeah, this is the sane way. I have a Youtube channel blocker plugin. I hear robo-voice, I sense robo-script, I see robo-video? Channel blocked, problem solved.
Yup, had a robo call that was so real that the only reason I think it was a robo call is that they were way too kind to be a call center worker.
Have you considered just, maybe, I don't know, turning it off?
The drama here is over the top. Almost like an AI was told to write it with the prompt "AND MAKE IT REALLY MELODRAMATIC!"
What AI voice are you talking about? Just random social media? If it's making you want to smash your phone I don't think the problem is the voice....
You got downvoted for this, but you're absolutely correct. If hearing something you don't like drives you to violence, shit, every time I hear mindless American pop music I'd be going on a rampage like that green guy in comics.
People seem to have forgotten the fine art of just turn it the fuck off.
