When you surround yourself with yes men who only tell you what you want to hear, this happens.

[–] Asafum@feddit.nl 46 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

I would not for one second doubt that he's just straight up lying. That no one gave him fake numbers and that he's just creating a reality for his cult by speaking.

[–] glimse@lemmy.world 12 points 3 weeks ago

In this case, I think assuming he's lying gives him too much credit. He's shown himself to be the loudmouth puppet of Miller and Vought

[–] Denjin@feddit.uk 8 points 3 weeks ago

The most likely is that he neither knows or cares about what the objective truth of anything is. It is only what is in his own mind that is real and sadly millions of people believe it too.

Unfortunately, a key part of maga is having too small of a brain to feel shame.

“No transgender for everyone”

Uhhh 🤷‍♂️

[–] mosspiglet@discuss.online 3 points 3 weeks ago

I was terrified for years that I might get transgendered! Thank you Mr Trump for saving us! 🙏🙏

[–] Embargo@lemmy.zip 54 points 3 weeks ago (3 children)

No transgender for everyone! What a fucking humanitarian.

[–] Kirp123@lemmy.world 18 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

I think he meant no transgender for anyone. What a fucking monster.

[–] Thedogdrinkscoffee@lemmy.ca 9 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

I agree. I think everyone should have at least one transgender. Maybe two.

I'm not sure I could eat one, never mind two.

Scared of boys who want to wear dresses and girls who want to wear pants...

[–] not_IO@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 3 weeks ago

I'm sure you mean well, but a trans woman is not a just a boy (or man) who wants to wear dresses. it's a woman. who wears whatever. same goes for trans men ^^

[–] Whulum@lemmy.world 49 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Had to fact check

Yep, no.. He did actually post that

[–] not_IO@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 3 weeks ago

good thing you checked

[–] LoafedBurrito@lemmy.world 27 points 3 weeks ago

Jesus dude, get a grip. None of that is true and the amount of lies his regime tells him on a daily basis is criminal.

Dude is senile, unfit for office, and did everyone forget A Convicted RAPIST and pedophile.

[–] victorz@lemmy.world 25 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Dude he talks like a 3rd grade paper. Is that the demographic this is aimed towards? The 3rd grade level minds?

[–] AreaKode@lemmy.world 29 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

That's the same level MAGAts read at.

[–] victorz@lemmy.world 11 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

See that's what I figure. And I'm not 100% convinced that Trump is actually above that level either, because he freaking talks like that as well. With his mouth and speech. That's crazy. It's like reading a parody of a Wikipedia article in "simple English". ("Simple" here was first incorrectly swipe typed as "senile" and I almost left it in.)

The only thing speaking against it is that the spelling and punctuation is on point, but that could very well be filtered through an editor of some sort who does the corrections.

[–] AreaKode@lemmy.world 3 points 3 weeks ago

That's exactly what it is! "He says it like it is." Yeah, because he's using very low level language. He isn't a smart man.

[–] MuskyMelon@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago

Proud to be dumb, hip to be stupid.

But at least I've not been converted to a dress-wearing liberal!!!

[–] Luci@lemmy.ca 20 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Can we please start doing something about this guy?

[–] the_q@lemmy.zip 7 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

There is only one, as there will never be another election that can remove him.

[–] Jhex@lemmy.world 4 points 3 weeks ago

General Strike... now

[–] Madison420@lemmy.world 20 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Can we just convict him and the Republican party for election fraud already? If he insists he won three times hes currently breaking the law. You never need to be seated either time, win twice you can't run again that's the way it is written.

[–] FinalRemix@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

The republican party has to agree to be convicted, then things can proceed.

[–] Madison420@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago

Not at all and state can sue about it.

[–] ChicoSuave@lemmy.world 18 points 3 weeks ago

It's funny how he has to point to things people would normally just know to be true. Well, it would be funny if it wasn't real life.

The AI bubble bursting will irrefutably crater the economy. Greatest Depression (now with more non-financial depression) incoming.

[–] Baggie@lemmy.zip 18 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Do you think any of his supporters stop and wonder why they let him win the third election after faking the second?

[–] amorpheus@lemmy.world 4 points 3 weeks ago

We wouldn't be here if they had two brain cells to rub together.

[–] HorreC@lemmy.world 12 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

OK, you are part of the government, make a law that states all political ads must be vetted and truthful, hell why not make that required of all political statements. Really show them who is boss. You know what lets also make it so ALL politicians are not allowed to trade in the stock market.

[–] AngryCommieKender@lemmy.world 16 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

The ad is Canadian, though it did feature Ronald Reagan calling tariffs stupid and unamerican.

[–] HorreC@lemmy.world -1 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

what? That wasent even spoken about in this 'truth', but again, make a law about it. If the dems funded it the law would hold them accountable. But I think you are missing the jist of my comment, I think that Trump doth protest to much, and actually putting these laws in place would hurt his party more then the dems, but I would like them all out of the pocket of corporations, so the stock trading was my true agenda. And while I am at it, why not force all election enforcement officials to wear body cameras, this would make the people the observers.

[–] AngryCommieKender@lemmy.world 5 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago) (1 children)

Oh I absolutely agree that Mango Mussolini is full of hot air and shit. My point was that he could pass all the laws he wants, but the ad that pissed him off this week was made and aired in Canada, so those laws won't affect the ad that got his britches in a twist in the first place.

[–] HorreC@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago

The idea that he threw a tantrum and got them to pull it was a joke. The video was what would be free speech in the USA. Canada grow a spine, if you want out from under the USA's shadow this will do it, it will burst the bubble of the US, and allow you to put forward things for your people not americas corporate interests

In 1984, they might have been wrong but they weren't demented.

[–] D_C@sh.itjust.works 10 points 3 weeks ago

Yeah, I'm not reading that.
I got through the first sentence of the obese rapist trying to convince himself how great he is and I thought "fuck that bullshit".

Sooo much winning everywhere! Such a stable strong minded person!

[–] uriel238@lemmy.blahaj.zone 7 points 3 weeks ago

Not really. We don't have Nero's tweets, but we're solidly sure he was the same exact sort.

And we've a dozen or so others with correspondence that shows they had the same kinds of fragile ego problems.

What's sad is we keep letting them get into power, usually thanks to support of the aristocratic elite.

[–] Medic8teMe@lemmy.ca 6 points 3 weeks ago

Future historians will be dead from climate change. Nature will laugh.
