Even then you'd need a majority of congress to be sympathetic to the rioters. Most of them are so isolated that chaos in the streets really wouldn't change their lives or opinions - except maybe to advocate for martial law and more deportations. We could try to vote them out in 2 years but that also seems unlikely unless a real opposition party emerges that actually gains traction.

Especially after the hunk of iron runs our of fuel. You can power the corvus on cheetos and red bull, but without oil, the corvette is dead in the water. Even it's weapons system, other than side arms, is useless.

Trump is only successful because he holds a coalition of wacko together with his personality cult. Vance does not have that cult following. He would not be able to hold the coalition together. One of Trumps kids might be able to, but they've all been pushed aside by Musk. Musk can't take the reigns because he is an immigrant. If Trump goes. the whole thing quickly falls apart.
The main push back i get is in order to maintain soc2 compliance the IT department needs to run auditing software on the laptop. Microsoft intune barely support linux and is years behind on the os versions it will work with. IT does not want to run multiple audit software packages.
