Even then you'd need a majority of congress to be sympathetic to the rioters. Most of them are so isolated that chaos in the streets really wouldn't change their lives or opinions - except maybe to advocate for martial law and more deportations. We could try to vote them out in 2 years but that also seems unlikely unless a real opposition party emerges that actually gains traction.

The main push back i get is in order to maintain soc2 compliance the IT department needs to run auditing software on the laptop. Microsoft intune barely support linux and is years behind on the os versions it will work with. IT does not want to run multiple audit software packages.
