the best part is that this comic has artistic intent and creativity. looking for the hands isnt always enough anymore with ai slop. sadly

The way I can tell is through nonsensical lighting and/or composition, while it is not foolproof it is still fairly reliable.

Often times the background of an image gives it away. Like things that should be rectangular but aren't. On images with plain backgrounds it can be a lot harder to tell sometimes.

Weird phrasing. I've always used (and heard used) "the fuck I can" as a negation. Like "hey, can I get some of those fries?" "The fuck you can."

Or "I'm gonna grab some diamonds from your chest." "The fuck you will."

It now does the more obvious hands kind of right, and also does a lot better with I2I models. It's still garbage looking once the hands are not in front of the eye, and GTP4o has some really heavy filtering applied to hide obvious AI artifacts.
