That’s not true at all. If you didn’t develop empathy in preschool and have fully developed sense of empathy by middle to high school, you had some serious developmental issues or were raised in a bad environment.
That doesn’t mean middle and high school kids can’t be mean. That cruelty can’t be excused by undeveloped empathy. In fact, they most certainly know how the person feels and are intentionally making them feel bad.
I said it doesn't develop fully until adulthood. Not that it isn't there at all until then.
And I’m saying it fully develops before adulthood. Usually, somewhere around 12 years old.
Before puberty?
Yeah, and the skills keep developing but by then they should be able to see things from another person’s perspective.
Those are not facts, but complete bullshit, and I think you know that. Unless you're citing sociology of course where everything is facts if you feel like it is.
