Change it to 2035 or 2040 and check back. I'll bet you for your air conditioning credits against my houseplant allowances that it's more like this than not.

For what and to what end?

A full-speed race to the bottom!

Starting to think about a Neu-Amish movement where we just stop with tech advancements post 2020 and live like it's 2019 again. Shit, I'll give up LTE and 5g to live in a world without social media.

If I need someone to generate slop and feed it to slop-eaters, I'll hire someone to do it so I don't have to be involved with any of them.

Don't get a new Samsung. I liked mine until they moved/force updated to OneUI 8 like 3 months in and I have hated it since. I have an old LG 5g that I'm bringing out of retirement once this thing is paid off. Miss that SD card, 3.5mm aux, and a stable, reliable, predictable UI. Glad I took care of that old phone since LG is out of the market and we have like 3 options in the States for phone hardware anymore...

It's a cultural thing. We in the anglosphere have been mentally poisoned to need everything to be transactional or cost to benefit analysis based. 'What's in it for me' mentality.

Date other cultures to find what you're looking for, but there will be other expectations from you, as well.

I'm not following your question... Grapefruit inhibits the breakdown of meds, it's probably important to appropriately dose HRTs over days/weeks or else there could be some problems with the endocrine systems due to unexpectedly elevated levels (e.g. cardio stuff).

Regardless of the Snoop, never try to 100% life. Always leave sometime to strive for.

It's been a problem since we starting arranging life for cars over life for humans, so probably all the way back to when gasoline was $0.24 a gallon...

Correct, 80-20% is the healthiest range for batteries, but I don't think it makes too much of a difference to be honest. Then again I replaced the battery of my Nexus 5 in like an hour back a decade ago, but no idea if something like that is still possible

[–] d5273@lemmy.world 5 points 7 hours ago

You are correct. I had a ZUK phone at the time, it kicked ass. Miss that little thing...

I think I'm thinking of ZTE, the change was like 2016-2017.

I had a ZUK phone at the time, and it was amazing. Lenovo bought them and incorporated them, and my Lenovo phone was also excellent but useless in the States due to using different bands/lack of software for the West.
