I had to come to the comments to realize people are interpreting this as "she used to be his male best friend before she transitioned to a woman."

That wooshed over my head because I interpreted it as the wife suspected her husband of of murdering his best friend 15 years ago.

Also people who aren't living as their true best self tend to be depressed so when they become their true self they are much happier, they look happier & radiate wellness & light everywhere to everyone. We should all be allowed the space & freedom to discover & live our own true best selves, whatever that means to each of us. The world would be so much better if everyone was free & happy living their own best lives.

In 2023-2024 I had a job where I quickly became aware that I was working much harder than they were paying me and I started to track every dollar against my efforts, becoming increasingly aware & bitter that 37% of my time there I was breaking my body as an unpaid volunteer because that's how much the govt was deducting from my paychecks. And the net pay I was left with was not enough to survive. So glad I escaped & found a slightly better situation.

I try not to be an annoying mother and I let them live their lives, but maybe they feel like I'm neglecting them? I don't know.

Thank you, well at least it got me into excellent physical shape & I got a boyfriend out of it, though he turned out to be kinda toxic but he was a bit of companionship & security for 6 years until I finally escaped & ascended to my own best life.

What year did they change that?
