This is why the quantum expander device is helpful

If you are here asking: "Is this a science meme?"
Probably, yes. We use the Dawkins definition of meme: a replicating idea, not just an image macro with a fact on it. A good post here doesn't need to teach you something. It needs to make you ask something: who, what, where, when, and especially why or how.
Science isn't a filing cabinet of facts, it's a conversation. For example, a photo of an eel or other localized wildlife counts because most people never see one, and wonder is the first step of inquiry. A car meme counts if it makes you curious about what's under the bonnet. If you want to talk about something you noticed in the world, chances are someone else wants to talk about it too.
We moderate for vibe, not category. Pruning is light, especially where a post creates interesting discussion. Experimenting is encouraged, but keep it in good faith and never punch down.
WTF are "tweasers"??? Apparently they're so small that an alternate spelling was needed π€£
Quantum tweezers change text based on observation
Twæsers
Love it! Mai brain!

Yeah, it's not called "tweaser", it's "crispr"
Hey baby, are you DNA helicase, because I wanna unzip your genes π
Wouldn't that be "are you DNA helicase, because I want you to unzip my genes?"
If the other person is the enzyme, then they are the unzipper.
I butchered it
No no, that's a different enzyme to cut your DNA!
Exo- or endo-nuclease!
Hey bebe, are you polyamerous, because I wanna split you between two canonical splice sites π
It's like how computer scientists just stick scree drivers or soldering irons into tower pcs all day.
Like this:

This reminds me of the ASMR video I watched where this person removed my cranial nerves for cleaning and I was so immersed that I was kind of weirded out and upset by their sudden theft.
The tweezers are hard but why does no one talk about gluing the strands back together? How many students drop out of graduate school because their double helix looks like a ladder? It's so hard!
Genetic aestheticians.
Wow, I don't think a single one of those people even know what a soldering iron is.
I like this one:
The Solderer
When a retired assassin repairs a personal computer belonging to the daughter of the President of the United States, something, something, a lot of kicking and grunting. Starring Jason Statham

The guy taking a drill to the motherboard got a good chuckle out of me.
You losers are still using mechanical tweezers? I upgraded to optical tweezers long ago.
