After being family owned for over 100 years, beyerdynamic is soon going to be sold to a chinese company.
Very nice, just gifted sennheiser headphones for Christmas. Have a very good sound quality. But I read somewhere they also produce in China and I did not read up further.
Most of their headphones are made in China. You can search by country, brand or product HERE
For example Sennheiser Products made in China (69)
Sennheiser Products sorted by category and by country they are made in
Sennheiser Products made in Germany (38) and Ireland (3) and Romania (14) and United Kingdom (4)
Take the site with allowances for discrepancies and some issues on the site itself, or example searching product type and then digging deeper to find more info.
Thanks, very informative!
Actually you're right, looking further into it, some of their cheapest and wireless models are indeed made in China now. :( But their Hifi stuff is still all made in Europe at least.
Fairphone. While im not sure theyre manufactured in Europe, they pay the factory workers fairly and have fair working conditions for them.
And repairable. I wish I bought them.
Fairbuds are quite good, Bluetooth range leaves something to be desired.
Im not too sure about that, personally. Tbh i got them for free in a promotion when i bought my FP5 phone, and while I have used them, its not been much simply because at home on my PC ive got my regular headset, or if i want to do stuff like clean or cook I just switch to the external speakers, and at work, again, headset.
Pretty much all use cases for me involve my phone being in my pocket or hand (e.g. out in public) and in that case they've been really good to my experience. Granted I'm no audio guru so definitely check out reviews from those who are relating to that aspect if you (the reader) plan to get a set, I can't complain honestly.
Austrian Audio, only the high end one afaik. And Meze produce in Europe, also high end.
I tried to ask Austrian Audio via their contact form where they are producing but I never got an answer. I think they are mostly "designed in Austria".
Austrian Audio used to produce in Austria, not anymore.
Orosound Tilde Pro. Made in France. Pretty good sound and microphone quality.
