Thanks, I have looked on the service manual and does diagrams seems to match the actual boards in the receiver so it will be possible to use for fault tracing.

The popping could be heard on every speaker one my 5.1 system but the receiver is 7.1 so I could try the last two outputs.

I don't own any oscilloscope but I'm could buy one to try to find what the issue is.

I don't live in US so the shipping would be too much to be worth it, but on a local website someone posted a NR1501 receiver earlier today so I could try that.

I think it depends a lot on what type of work it is and ones interest. I'm a sw developer and there are definitely days where I enjoy working and making progress on an interesting problem.

It sounded on him like it is a bidding over who will lose the electricity last. But the priority was decided a long time ago, when it was fewer billionaires and they didn't had that many billions. For now, it not normal people vs billionaires.

I have not noticed cheaters but I play PvE.

The first image has some white stuff under the large capacitors, but I think it is supposed to look like that, it looks very similar to one of the images in the review.

I have a problem with the receiver for my 5.1 system.

When I turn it on, the speakers start making a popping sound that continues for a few minutes. I have tried disconnecting the speakers and using different ones, as well as different inputs, but the issue remains the same. The popping lasts for a shorter time if the receiver has been turned off for a while. Initially, it only lasted a few seconds, but it has gradually got worse.

Watch the video to hear the sound. In the video, I have only connected one speaker.

The receiver is a Marantz NR1501. I'm not sure when I bought it, but I found a review from 2010.

I opened the receiver and inspected it, but I can't see anything burnt, and all the capacitors look OK.

Do you have any idea what the issue is? How can I confirm if that is the root cause?

We have only had 130 years to adapt for the greenhouse effect, that is much shorter than EU needs to agree on something that important.

In 1896 Svante Arrhenius calculated the effect of a doubling atmospheric carbon dioxide to be an increase in surface temperatures of 5–6 degrees Celsius.

I don't know how it is in US but in Sweden there is a priority list when there is a risk of blackout. Hospitals is one of the highest priorities, if not the highest. Regular families is one of the lowest, it is expected that everyone should be prepared for losing power for a couple of hours. However, some big companies that uses lots of power have a deal with the grid owner that they can be disconnected/reduced power first when there is a risk of blackouts.

Just wait until he suggests "improvements" to the World Cup. The 30-minute half-time break and the hydration break will seem like the good old days in comparison.

I hope they succeed and that we can have similar initiatives in other countries in EU.

On Tuesday, FIFA announced plans to sell stakes in the World Cup; UEFA say potential sale of World Cup stakes 'crosses a line football's governing bodies should never cross'; FIFA insists it would retain sole control over governance, competitions and all sporting decisions.

Will you continue to add more brands and regularly check where they are made? Maybe you can add a field for suggestions of new brands?

I think it is important where the items are designed, but the manufacturing is also important. I will still avoid the Chinese cars that will be manufactured in Europe because of the design and ownership.

I have bought many jackets and shoes from Salomon, but it has never been made in Europe. And I saw a while ago that they are owned by a Chinese company.

I played Arc Raiders again for the first time for a couple of months and I was kicked out because I used "Prohibited software" with the error code ARAV1011. Earlier I have never had any issues.

It turned out that it is a problem with Denuvo anti-cheat. The solution is to change to Proton Experimental.

I looked up different brands of sunscreen and was thinking that others could be interested. The brands are the most common (they were high up on the top list for a couple of different pharmacies) in Sweden, it might be different brands in other countries. Unfortunately I couldn't see where any of the sunscreen is produced when I search for the brands online.

The sunscreen from Apoteket is produced in Sweden and the one from Hjärtat is produced in Denmark according to the packaging.
