Personally hate online news journals for which you need to pay a subscription to read.

So you pay with your taxes instead of doing it on your own free will this is way crucial, access to all media cannot be considered equivalent to healthcare, basic communication or transport in depopulated areas, and I'm not on the right or even center of the political spectrum.

I understand the state needs to finance at least 1 free media whilst guaranteeing the independence of that media. Bur there also needs to be self financed media, what we need to get rid of is oligarch media (but unfortunately, this one is the most common type of media in Europe).

It's so easy to include a free, archived copy of the article, but most posters are lazy fucks.

I keep advocating to add a rule that if a link is to a paid article, the poster must include a free copy too.
