I moved all my projects from github over to codeberg. It was a seamless transition except for having to modify some links in the readme and a submodule, but issues moved over OK as well.

What about CI/CD? From what I see forgejo actions are not compatible with github actions. Does moving those require a lot of work?

Forgejo explicitly aims to have them be compatible. I don't know, what you mean. They even tell you to read the github documentation for understanding how their actions work.
