NGL, I was kinda holding out hope there would be a "Actually, we decided to change our minds" post

[–] Sibshops@lemmy.myserv.one 60 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Well, last post from there. Not gone for good.

[–] AnarchistArtificer@slrpnk.net 8 points 11 months ago

This made me laugh a lot. Well executed

So long, and thanks for all the fish

[–] ghen@sh.itjust.works 12 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Hey! Who turned out the lights?

[–] SchmidtGenetics@lemmy.world 16 points 11 months ago (1 children)

The one single downvote on my gardening posts will end. Or I’ll find their alt.

Why not just block the person instead of only downvoting their posts, it’s hella obvious.

[–] Blaze@lemmy.dbzer0.com 11 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Have you ever reported them for systematic downvotes? Mods can help with that if it's systematic

[–] SchmidtGenetics@lemmy.world 18 points 11 months ago* (last edited 11 months ago) (1 children)

I never β€œknew” for sure until I found out you could see voting history a couple weeks ago, now it’s kinda moot. If it continues, yeah I’ll definitely pass it along, as well as the old account.

[–] Evil_Shrubbery@lemmy.zip 6 points 11 months ago

Maybe they have an upside-down face & were actually just trying to upvote all this time! :(

[–] ABetterTomorrow@sh.itjust.works 15 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Thank you lemm.ee, you were a great start to my Lemmy journey.

[–] LuckyDevil@lemmy.zip 2 points 11 months ago

Ditto. They will not be forgotten!

[–] mesamunefire@piefed.social 9 points 11 months ago (4 children)

O7

So where is everyone going to?

[–] ramble81@lemmy.zip 7 points 11 months ago

Moved over to .zip

[–] OpenStars@piefed.social 5 points 11 months ago

PieFed, apparently:-)

lemmy.zips the closest at general purpose and working with the lemmy apps, or piefed.zip/piefed.social with interstellar for an app (wouldnt have reccomended it a couple weeks ago but seems notifications work now on ios)

[–] ButtDrugs@lemmy.zip 8 points 11 months ago

I waited too long to migrate my settings 😩.

[–] Sunshine@lemmy.ca 7 points 11 months ago

It was good fighting alongside the .ee tribe.

[–] 0ops@lemm.ee 6 points 11 months ago

Me too. Guess this is my stop

Hulk's brain is a smaller Hulk.

Thank you for reminding me to go take screenshots of my old saved posts and whatnot from my previous account so I can find any important stuff again πŸ˜…

[–] ech@lemmy.ca 4 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Too late for a lemm.ee account, but in case it's relevant in the future - Lemmy has the option to export and import account information in the settings menu. It won't copy posts, but it will copy everything else, allowing for much easier migration.

[–] Cris_Color@lemmy.world 3 points 11 months ago

Thank you for reminding me how to do that! For my .ee account I mostly just wanted my saved posts, I'm not sure if it'll grab those? But I think I may switch away from .world and I was meaning to go look up how to do it, cause last time I went looking I couldn't figure out if it was possible

Saving this comment!

:'(

It's been offline a few times today already.
Wait, are they offline already? I wanted to make one last post :/.

[–] ABetterTomorrow@sh.itjust.works 3 points 11 months ago

I did a couple hours ago saying thank you to them.

[–] RatzChatsubo@lemm.ee 3 points 11 months ago

I'm curious how long I can keep posting and ignoring that I need to sign up again

[–] LadyButterfly@lemmy.world 2 points 11 months ago

RIP lemmee gone but not forgotten

[–] NotANumber@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 11 months ago (3 children)

Wish I had seen this post before it all shutdown. I ended up moving to dbzero in a rush.
