Legally, yes. Deterministicly, maybe.

Free will is just the total sum of available options an actor can take, assuming another actor can be put into the same position.

Is it going to be of real value to us taxpayers in any way? At best, no. At worst, if the government starts acquiring crypto and then the price falls, that’s going to be a hit on the valuations of the crypto. So I don’t see this ending well in any way, but it is going to happen.

For work browsing safety, my strategy is to use two instances:

  • lemm.ee – because it doesn’t allow pornographic content.
  • lemmynsfw.com – for anything I wish to subscribe to that falls into the opposite category.
