Oh you're all good, I had actually only read the mastodon alt text, I didn't see where alt text was located in my lemmy app so I thought the image didn't have any and they must have been referring to the mastodon post

If you dont have one already, now seems like a good time to also look for a good mechanic you feel you can trust. I'd start by asking around with folks you know- in my experience the best mechanics have customers that will gladly tell you they're amazing and send you their way
Its hard to have much confidence in what's going on with the car if you dont work on it yourself and have visibility to how things are going, or have someone trustworthy you can ask to help you assess what's going on, and get perspective on whether you need to be worried
If you decide to replace it you can also as them to check out the new car for you, which could be massively helpful

I'm playing the following following platinum rom hack, so its been fun having my Pokémon follow me around.
Just beat the elite four so now I'm probably wrapping up my time with the game, and will eventually move on to gen 5 (I'm playing through each gen moving through the regions, I've not really played any modern games so I'm looking forward to trying them :)

I used to really like doing fresh jalapeno, but now generally have to avoid spicy food for dumb reasons so poblano has been a nice substitute.
For the patties you just roll ground beef into a ball roughly the size of a golf ball, maybe a tad bigger if you want, get your cast iron super hot, and then place your patty ball on the cast iron, and smash it down with a suitable metal implement- I use a flat, non-slotted cookie scraper and use the butt of a silicone spatula to press down on the top of the spatula since it's hard to get good leverage on the cookie scraper without putting your hand too close to the sputtering hot pan
I saw these and thought they'd be perfect for a comm along these lines if one existed on lemmy, and lo and behold, it does exist!
