Authoritarian supporters. Most don't just excuse the authoritarian regimes, they actively support them.
That's the cool thing about conscripting criminals. When they come back, they are still criminals, they don't become criminals.
With added trauma, some military experience and probably having stolen military equipment...
That assumes they are picking the cannon fodder at random. If they leaned towards the most apt for combat (young, relatively healthy and somewhat stable) then the next batch well probably be worse than the previous. If they also cheap out more on training and equipment... They might need a batch sonnet than that.

The first half is almost perfect already.
Discussion question: what are the good options if a country wants to control immigration? It's almost impossible to return a lot of the migrants, as they leave identification on porpoise. Incarcerate permanently is inhumane, but it's also inhumane to just leave them in the homeless or send them to a different, unrelated country.
On the other hand, housing them and/or giving them money would seem as a "reward".
I know the feeling on Lemmy is mostly "open borders", I'm more interested on best approach aside from that.
The cameras didn't see the fight, true. They didn't see the guy the police was beating going in or out the station, nor anything that happened before the fight.
All that was a bit silly, really. I don't even recall an in show comment about why there was nothing at all.
New season is just OK for now. I had expected much worse, so I guess I can't complain. Let's see how it goes.
