technically it's optimal for battery health if you only keep charge somewhere between 40 and 80%
Which is why my phone lies to me and 100% is actually 80%.
I use a setting on my S21 that keeps the battery from going over 80 for that reason. It does seem to help, battery's still going strong while my S8's has gone completely to shit.
40% is unnecessary conservative. More like 20%.

Everyone is misunderstanding what's going on here. Mom is obviously so chill with aliens that not only does she not recognize this particular alien, but she's concerned her son went somewhere she doesn't know about with that unfamiliar alien. He needs to call her so he can tell her.

Meanwhile I have my phone set to STOP charging at 80 percent. Thos I wish it did 85 and stop like my last one.
