Ebikes, bicycles, scooters, skateboards, longboards, eboards, motorcycles, skates, unicycles, heelies, or an office chair: Whatever floats your goat, this is all things micromobility!

"Transportation using lightweight vehicles such as bicycles or scooters, especially electric ones that may be borrowed as part of a self-service rental program in which people rent vehicles for short-term use within a town or city.

micromobility is seen as a potential solution to moving people more efficiently around cities"

It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:

Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.

Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.

Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.

Those "wind turbines" are definitely helping... because energy gets magically created, right?

Ah yes because a wind generator is magic.

(It would work if the bike is stationary or in some conditions if the wind direction is right relative to the bike direction.)

But probably it loses more in drag than it gains in generation, except when the bike is stopped

Yeah I meant while in motion. Otherwise airplanes with propellers wouldn't need fuel.

The guy on YouTube Quint Builds has been experimenting with this https://youtu.be/5Mr8FDyGcSA

Seems like you'd get knocked over by a big gust with all that surface area up top. Even on my steel MTB fully loaded up, having a frame bag allows the wind to have a pretty noticeable effect sometimes.

"It's legit," but also, "How true these numbers are, no one seems to have a clue. Clearly because there is no proof of this thing even running."
