Italy and the uk need to step it up

[โ€“] [email protected] 9 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

Fuck Elon, but I am starting to feel bad for the guys who just wanted to make an electric car. They didn't deserve to get wrapped up in this monkey's paw. I hope they got out while they could.

[โ€“] [email protected] 3 points 5 hours ago

Ive heard literally 0 shit being flung at the people who work at Tesla. This is the first time I even considered whether this was bad for them.

They likely are losing money though since I think part of their pay is in stock. The stock is overvalued though still.

I dont know, if I worked for Tesla I'd probably consider this a wash.

I'm ashamed of the UK and Italy.

[โ€“] [email protected] 2 points 7 hours ago

Not so long ago it was up in the U.K., so this is a start.

[โ€“] [email protected] 2 points 7 hours ago

No shame.

I view it as a friendly competition between Europeans. Right now, Spain is in the lead. UK and Italy are trailing but they're still racing in the right direction. I'm cheering for them to catch up.

Consistent declines for all 3 months of 2025, yoy.

UK and Italy are evidently full of bastards.

[โ€“] [email protected] 16 points 18 hours ago (4 children)

Or weren't buying many to begin with ๐Ÿค”

[โ€“] [email protected] 1 points 3 hours ago

Average .ee user

[โ€“] [email protected] 1 points 7 hours ago

Not sure about figures but thereโ€™s plenty on UK roads.

[โ€“] [email protected] 25 points 18 hours ago (2 children)

No they're right, we're bastards

[โ€“] [email protected] 1 points 4 hours ago

Don't worry, I wasn't disputing that.

[โ€“] [email protected] 9 points 18 hours ago

Bloody bastards even.

[โ€“] [email protected] 6 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

Thatโ€™s not how percentages work.

[โ€“] [email protected] 5 points 15 hours ago

It's not, but there's probably another proportion of the overall community that are "I like Musk and I have money, so I'm going to buy a car". That number isn't related to the previous number of sales, so if sales are already low that "arsehole" number would become more significant.

It's a made up example, but just saying there may be ways in which the sales won't drop below an absolute number.

[โ€“] [email protected] 10 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

These numbers are outdated, Tesla are back at the top of sales for March in Norway. Such a shame

Why are the rich so stupid? Just pretend you care about human rights and your sales go up. It's so simple. Why can't they even put up the facade of being a normal person?

[โ€“] [email protected] 17 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

That was the last era. Now we're in a masks-off gilded age where the ultrarich think they can do it all out in the open.

[โ€“] [email protected] 4 points 10 hours ago

So far the American Ultra-rich have been doing well when they didn't get Luigi'd.

[โ€“] [email protected] 17 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

why is Felon Musk not getting fired for poor performance.

[โ€“] [email protected] 13 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

From the government? Because he bought it.

From Tesla? Because he is the largest individual stockholder.

[โ€“] [email protected] 8 points 17 hours ago

And the board is made up of his toadies.

[โ€“] [email protected] 6 points 19 hours ago

You love to see it

[โ€“] [email protected] 81 points 1 day ago (4 children)

In gonna need England and Italy to pump them numbers up.

[โ€“] [email protected] 33 points 1 day ago (1 children)

In Italy the percentage is low because not many Teslas are sold anyway

[โ€“] [email protected] 4 points 6 hours ago

That's not how percentages work, doofus.

[โ€“] [email protected] 17 points 1 day ago (2 children)

We weren't buying them from the start.

Italy poor.

[โ€“] [email protected] 2 points 12 hours ago (1 children)
[โ€“] [email protected] 1 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

Is that supposed to be a lot?

[โ€“] [email protected] 2 points 6 hours ago* (last edited 6 hours ago)

For the first two months 19,046 Teslas were sold in the EU. So per capita sales are a bit below average in EU terms.

[โ€“] [email protected] 9 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I'm poor.
That's my reason for not buying a Tesla, though.

[โ€“] [email protected] 6 points 18 hours ago

Did you a word, or would you buy one of you had money?

[โ€“] [email protected] 17 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

I believe it is to do with the difference in the starting number of registrations but would need to see the data broken down.

Iโ€™ve heard from Germany but are there any articles about Spain? Spain seems to hate musk in particular, me gusta
