It's not the AI that people are calling slop... it's the slop. People-made slop existed before AI and it was still slop.

Right. It just so happens that LLMbeciles and related degenerative AI technologies only generate slop.

Yes exactly. And I actually believe that artificial intelligence could be a real thing that we might one day describe as a person that makes real art. But everything I see tells me that LLMs are not a path towards that.
