They always always always avoided paid moderators, to their detriment. Now they are giving AI a go to be worse than automod.
they want MOds to play ball, most wont. so thier answer is having AI mods, overriding mods i assume. its essentially turning into FB 2.0.
What are mods refusing to do that they want to make them do at this point? The protest years ago ended within a couple of days and nothing happened.
they wernt doing what SPEZ is asking most of the time.
I mean, a bunch of us are here. It might not have been earth-shattering, but it'd be quite self-defeating to say our little community is "nothing."
The Fediverse received quite a boost from Reddit's fuckery. We may not be "mainstream," but I imagine a lot of us prefer it this way.
