Garrison Lovely... I don't like this dude.. I have yet to see the value of AI still even after listening to this guy fart out of his mouth. Everytime I use AI... I end up wasting time. Everytime. I gave it a ol college try. Remember kiddos some smart people are sometimes stupid. I refuse to offload my thinking to the pdfile class gipity robot. The bubble is gonna pop fosure like closure like KO like empty warhouses. The grifters then will take their money and run. ... remember the AIM chatbot. This silly shit will never impress me ever. We don't need more tech and they are trying to get you to internalise the false asumption that you are not needed because they want to drive down wages. It is just a magic trick. Even if we could do good with it... we wouldn't... we are over socialised and more unproductive than we have ever been in human history because stupid drug addicts pdfiles are steering the ship. If AI is such a big dick weapon then why is iran spanking our asses to sunday with remote control toys and cheap rockets. It is a fucking bubble and they the capitalist class are bankrupting the USA. The question is really how far are you gonna let these creeps stick it. It is as simple as the summers rain.... we need real intelligence not artifical... don't over think it. The magic man is just a man... the wizard of OZ is a geezer fapping behind the curtain. Elon and his kind aka favored idiots are low self esteem losers taking it out on the world in the arena of predatory capitalism via the imperial boomerang. Their shit ain't loud and it ain't even mid. Moldy shake that smells like dryer sheets and gasoline. From this point on the history books will read not as obsfucated lies but as a cartoon. TV ain't got shit on reality. What a spectacle.. Your code is wack.. your products are junk... I rather grab my hog then eat some lunch.
The actual practical use cases of LLMs are so specific and rare (not to mention almost certainly more expensive without the VC funding) I'm starting to feel like the anti-AI "it will take our jobs" narrative is one that the companies help support.
It probably is. Same with the narrative “if you have nothing to hide…”, which gets parroted a lot without much thought. It mainly serves to erode privacy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nothing_to_hide_argument. I think people for whatever reason think big tech is infallible, which is far from true, but very good for the companies if they want to maintain their almost god-like appearances. Companies like Google are too bloated and are anti-consumer. I highly recommend people move to other services. LLMs need to be regulated as they are far too harmful and do so much unchecked damage. I agreed that they have areas they are useful, but for instance scanning everyone’s photos on the cloud and letting AI be judge, jury, and executioner in terminating people’s accounts when they find something they think violates some arbitrary ever changing TOS policy is not a good use for them. Just ranting. Not a fan of how these companies invade privacy with AI.
