I think it'll be even simpler than that: it will turn people lazy, dumb, uneducated, and willing to believe anything they see or hear.

And it won't take long: the current generation of kids cheating their way out of what's left of the education system will soon reach voting age.

What do you mean "it will turn"? We're there already, that's how we got here in the first place, we don't need AI for that.
