I think they stand with an anterior pelvic tilt. It's a bad posture habit people adopt

See (though it's somewhat exaggerated):

Rude. I was hoping to find a recommendation for a us equivalent thread/post. Not a slap of reality.

I've never used fb marketplace. I have had good luck getting rid of things on offerup but deleted my nextdoor account after less than 24 hours because the drama and posts were mind numbingly stupid

The last time I used Craigslist was about two years ago to find/buy a bird cage. The person told me about a forum-esque site for bird adoptions. I was surprised when the person I reached out to on a 3 month old post responded and I adopted my guys!

It (the small marketplace) is not completely dead. Forums and niche sites are still going strong

I'm having a hard time visualizing what the :3c is. I saw an explanation once but I've forgotten. Could you please explain that to me? Thx ♥️!

My opinion: I agree with these points. It's nice having a news aggregator. It's simple and free and gives a generous amount of sources for each news story

I've got a lot on my plate and curating news feeds is a low priority

Beautiful pictures but a sad story. She (the whale) was killed by a boat a few days after the pictures in the op and article were taken

I feel it is very important to post this here:

I can tell you there's some types or brands of hotdogs that will definitely make my stomach less happy than others

But really, there's no shame in using the offcuts and if it gets our wasteful country to eat more of the animal that's all the better. We don't make fun of cultures that are very resourceful and try to maximize the yields of their harvests so I see no need in this case either

I get you though, unless it's homegrown and not ultraprocessed they'll generally be the kinda the same

I've generally tried to stick with the most ethically raised eggs I can buy. If I hear a friend/family/coworker sells eggs I'm all up on that. Been a few years for that opportunity though

However the side effect is my eggs have continued to be available (until literally all the other ones ran out) at the same price since

They're "expensive" but well worth it overall. I'm also assuming the continued availability and price reflects the conditions they're kept in. If the flock wasn't culled like all the big farms then I have to assume they're treating their chickens right

Cheers fellow egg lover!

I agree with you (and also somewhat with the other people, too)

I want to keep some accounts completely separate from my other accounts, and also don't want to set up a whole other set of accounts to keep them separate

E.g., on Reddit I would keep certain conversations on reddit only (but used a 3rd party app mostly so I never saw the chats, just dm/pms)

I think I recognize Sandy if you've posted about her before! She's the cute little Arabian?

If she (and you) are comfortable with it, have you tried braiding her tail? I always loved giving my horse a French braid, or getting creative and trying other styles

She looks great! And yeah horses have a great ability to pick up on emotions

I. Love. It.

sooo much

The colors are my jam but I will say the dog gets lost. I think having the purse a darker maroon or teal color would highlight it while still remaining subtle. Fantastic look though! You are really giving off some strong, lovely vibes

I originally got this guy in Oct of last year from a plant shop and was in pretty miserable shape:

I left it in my south facing window and it lost those leaves and then shot up a whole bunch of new ones all at once (the ones in the before/after)

I was concerned that they were growing too straight as a result of it not getting enough light. I put the plant in another window that gets direct sun earlier in the day and then I started to see the very tips start to curl

My mom had given me a plant light a couple years ago that I never used so it was the perfect opportunity to set it up in a corner of my kitchen currently unused. Over the course of just a couple days I saw some real differences! These should all be taken about 12 hours apart:
11.45am 15th
1am 16th
9am 16th

Those were all taken about 5 days ago, then here's this morning, same as the top photo:
today 21st
without the blurple

Anyways, the photos aren't great because I didn't expect to see progress, especially none so quickly. So they're not staged well and I think I messed up the formatting because my app was giving me issues uploading more than the first two pics. Also my water just got shut off for emergency maintenance and I was already in the middle of an anxiety episode but I'm absolutely over the moon when I woke up to see those tight curls!

Those leaves grew so tall so quickly I was afraid the lack of bright light would have caused them to just be stretched and the info I found on the internet led me to believe that they were forever doomed to be frizzle fizzle until next growing season

Anyways, that's my plant and one of the joys in my life right now!
