Need a crew of x number of people to build a house. That crew can make y number houses per year.

500,000 divided by x times y is going to be a lot of jobs.

Cool.

While i agree, don't pretend this isn't orders of magnitude different in how it can effect how people go about solving problems.

Behavioral psychology is going to have fun unraveling just how it changes people's action and thinking.

The ads would be too obvious if they were alongside what you actually wanted to see

Yes, but it doesn't name names. Basically you can use disinformation to prevent awareness and reduce masking and other spread reduction techniques.

This shit is old and still true

From YT description; In this compelling speech before Congress, Warren Buffett delivers a strong argument for a fair tax system, calling out the growing wealth gap and the dangers of eliminating the estate tax. He warns against a society where dynastic wealth replaces meritocracy, emphasizing the need for a progressive estate tax to prevent America from turning into a plutocracy. Buffett also proposes an alternative: using estate tax revenue to support low-income households, ensuring fairness in a system that disproportionately benefits the ultra-wealthy.

Key takeaways include: ✅ Why removing the estate tax would widen economic inequality ✅ How the wealth gap has skyrocketed over the last 20 years ✅ The real impact of tax law changes on the super-rich ✅ Buffett’s proposal to support low-income families instead of eliminating the estate tax ✅ The moral and economic argument for tax fairness

This is a must-watch for anyone interested in economic policy, wealth distribution, and tax fairness. Learn directly from Warren Buffett’s insightful perspective on how to create a more just and balanced economy.

It's time. Everyone agrees the DNC is a failure for numerous reasons. It's time to stop bitching and figure out how to fix it.

How do we get people like Bernie, AOC and Jon Stewart in charge?

No casual politics forum so hope this is OK here.

Today I saw a totem pole made of skeletons. I tried to come up with a word for it, something like skeletotem pole and accidentally imagined a similar sounding scrotum-totem pole.

Now you are going to imagine one. Do you draw faces on them? Position them to make eyes and stretch them out?

You're welcome.

Stupid but funny.
