It's literally unclickable in Interstellar - the link is gray and cannot be tapped.

absurd waste of power, water, and arable land

the AI systems I'm talking about here aren't LLMs. Their power/resource usage is so insignificant that you could literally run them right on your smartphone without having a noticeable impact on battery life.

And for me, neither links work, so I'll just say that both sides are assholes.

Not just creeped on his daughter, I'd bet good money on him having raped Ivanka as a kid.

I went as far as installing network level ad blocking on both my home network as well as devices.

Recently, I've had a few friends over whom are... not as technologically adept. They were incredibly surprised that after joining my guest WiFi, suddenly they were able to browse most websites almost completely unobstructed. No ads, no popups, no BS. Aside from the usual cookie agreements, of course.

If you can, help your friends, install ad blockers for them, make their internet experience better. Even DNS level adblocking is relatively easy to set up, and the only thing this hurts is the unscrupulous megacorporations that want to milk you for every single bit of personal information to sell.

The worst is when there's a tougher bit in like, a dry sausage (salami, chorizo, etc.), or bacon, that gets stuck between your teeth and is impossible to get out because the little fucker is just so slippery you can't get a grip on it...

You can only pick one of these.

Oh fuck off. ChatGPT doesn't "think", and if you run to it to get an opinion, neither do you.

1.7bn, not 1.3

do use your own advice, please.

These assholes get taxed 1-2% on their total wealth increases per year - and even that gets offset with their loopholes - meanwhile the average people pay anywhere between 30-50% of just their income (and that doesn't account for other taxes like VAT, property, vehicle and road taxes, and so on).

Because without those visas, the non-American talent can't be employed, and the US simply doesn't have the local talent to fill those spots.

Which means companies will have only one way to keep up with the talent demand: employ it abroad. Which reduces the amount of tax paid to the US government, the amount of money that circulates in the economy, and so on.
