And if you're driving at 60 then slam on the breaks because you thought you saw a cat?

Insurance companies will screw you any way they can.

If it can be proven. Realistically both parties end up having to pay to find degree.

This year I started growing food for the first time. I had zucchinis and cucumbers a-plenty. That made me happy.

Nobody in the EU is enjoying all the extra paperwork for shipments to and from there UK. All it is, is a head ache.

Everyone I've spoke to, at least in Germany, is completely fine with the UK rejoining. Just under the assumption that the UK won't get special treatment.

We call it the "butthole of doom" when the sheets tangle into a single point.

The laundry singularity.

I used to have my system through CrowdSec and authentik. Now it's Lan and Vpn only. Ai makes things too spicy for my liking.

I had a reverse proxy and all services on the web for funsies, behind various security mechanisms. Authentik, CrowdSec....

But in the age of AI, it feels far too dangerous.

Now everything still has a DNS entry and is accessible in Lan with it through my pi hole and Tailscale resolves the local subnet too.

Thank you for the amazing work. This is, along side immich, my most used self hosted project. I'll definitely give this a look over this weekend!

Hello! I have been on the fence about getting a printer for years. Now my wife is getting interested too, and I feel that now it's the time.

What are the recommendations nowadays? I am trying to steer clear of Bambi Labs due to their controversies (I'm also a supporter of open source software).

I've seen a few mentions of Prusa in this community. Would that be a good start? I don't want to get in at an extremely basic level and then need to upgrade in half a year.

I grew up playing a MUD game called MUD2 (mudii). It was one of the first multi user text adventures and I played it on a 56k modem on Wireplay back in the day.

I thought it would be a fun post on a wizard related community. Sorry, no picture 😅.

Edit, the whole point of the game is to become a wizard (level in the game).

I have been trying to identify this cylinder that I found on a walk. What could it's purpose be?

Top of the cylinder with wiring on the top

Thanks Dom!
