Thank you, lots of people are recommending the Core 1. I'll definitely need to check that out.

Interesting to hear the history. So Prusa was the original trail blazer?

Qidi is a new name for me, I'll put that on the list too. Lots of people are recommending the Core 1. 🤔

I think that multi colour isn't a huge deal.

Initially I'd be printing things like organisers.

My wife wants to build interesting art. Like eye ball phone holders or other fun stuff.

Thank you for the names, I'll have a research, they are all new to me.

Hello! I have been on the fence about getting a printer for years. Now my wife is getting interested too, and I feel that now it's the time.

What are the recommendations nowadays? I am trying to steer clear of Bambi Labs due to their controversies (I'm also a supporter of open source software).

I've seen a few mentions of Prusa in this community. Would that be a good start? I don't want to get in at an extremely basic level and then need to upgrade in half a year.

I grew up playing a MUD game called MUD2 (mudii). It was one of the first multi user text adventures and I played it on a 56k modem on Wireplay back in the day.

I thought it would be a fun post on a wizard related community. Sorry, no picture 😅.

Edit, the whole point of the game is to become a wizard (level in the game).

We played with the contrast of the picture and we think the first "u" looks like it is actually an "M". 🤔

We rapped on the side and it felt very solid, we didn't think to whack it with a stick.

I have been trying to identify this cylinder that I found on a walk. What could it's purpose be?

Top of the cylinder with wiring on the top

My son also has no respect for me whatsoever. He doesn't like me, care about me, and finds me annoying. He straight up said, 'I couldn't give a fuck less about you or your opinion. The fact that you think I should care proves how utterly stupid you are.'

Are comments like this coming at you after you already have him crap for his ideas? He is probably lashing out.

I'll admit, I would be confused too if my son wanted to change his last name to something seemingly random.

However, you don't really have a choice. If they are hell bent on changing it, all you will do is alienate them, if you stand in their way. Eventually you'll become a father and son that never talk.

There's really only one option. Accept them. You can let them know that you are confused as hell, but that you will love and support them regardless. Anything else is doomed to fail.

Ahhhh the little sleeves in the crystal cases that you would read excitedly on the way home.

Thanks Dom!
