When Canada started investigating this, Trump started his threats of invasion.
Just in case you still don't know who the actual president is.

When Canada started investigating this, Trump started his threats of invasion.
Just in case you still don't know who the actual president is.
That's not entirely accurate- the threats were present before this occurred, he just ramped up the threats afterwards.
Elon in here downvoting 🤣
I'm not sure melon head could figure out how to use the Fediverse.
He'd have to ask Big Balls to borrow his technical expertise.
Deletes SSN database to "save money"
Removes everyones social security to get himself deleted via bullet
Maybe he's trying to do assisted suicide? I can't imagine things going well when a bunch of old people, many with guns, are going to be left incomeless because of him. Though I suppose it's always possible for the republicans to somehow blame biden, minorities, or people with dyed hair for it and most will buy it.
Of course they didn’t.
No.
Narrator: They did not.
Betteridge's Law of Headlines
Seems legit to me, but then again I'm a complete moron..
8,653 cars over four dealerships in three days is ~~961~~ ~721 cars per dealer per day. (edit: fixed my math)
No dealership carries that many cars in one go, much less even capable of processing that many sales within 24hrs. Your average dealership sells maybe 100 cars a month.
Elon Musk: "It's not a lie if you believe it!"
8,653 cars over four dealerships in three days is ~961 cars per dealer per day.
*~721 (you accidentally divided by 3x3 instead of 4x3 for dealerships x days)
(Which is still absurd, of course)
Whoops! But yes, absolutely right.
It’s roughly 722, which isn’t far off enough of 961 to make a difference in the plausibility of this claim, but I wanted to throw that out there.
Could they be inflating it using internarional order fulfillment/ shuffling cars to other dealerships? A dealership in idk India wants a Model X with a specific trim and motors, so they pack and ship, and count it as sold from these 4 Canadian inventories? Also moving them to the US for sales since they're not selling well internationally?
If the dealership had 100 employees in the Show room, each of them would have to process 76 customers a day. At an 8 hour work day, that would be one ~10 customers per hour.
This gives each employer 6 minutes to finish a sale.
Very unlikely, if not impossible.
The biggest dealer I have ever been to had like 5 salespersons in store at any given time.
The biggest dealer I have ever been to had like 5 salespersons in store at any given time.
And probably half that in financing people.
I worked for a dealership group for a few years, and we had 4 different buildings in our local campus. Like you said, maybe 3-6 sales people in any given shift in each building, but only 1-2 financing people on shift in the same building.
Not even mentioning that the easy sales still took 30-45 minutes to get through financing. There's no possibile way that this is legit...
Car salespeople work longer than 8 hours. More like 10, especially nowadays where pickins are slim. Still a bunch of bullshit numbers no matter how you slice it. This really gives the same vibes as Trump inflating the value of his properties by lying about the square footage. I would bet there's some kind of financial gain being made from this claim.
Indeed, they wanted the 40 million in rebates this many cars would bring from canada's rebate program for EVs, right out of taxpayers pockets.
They don't have to process customers if they're fulfilling "a dealership in the US has asked for 5 of our triple motors in red" They're filing a transfer and then listing it as if "we sold 5 cars" to bump numbers
That's what I'm asking if they can do, illicit, to try and make it look like they're making sales
Some salesman must be making one hell of a commission.
There are loosely 5,000 new car sales per day for the whole country.
Not legit.

Mark Carney is the man. Freeze those funds and make these fucks accountable!
