Never once? Not even "what's for dinner"?

Started Book 1 of Philip Pullman's The Book of Dust, "La Belle Sauvage". It's good so far, easy read. If it's good enough I'll do the whole trilogy now that Book 3 is finally out, I've been waiting to start book 1 for over 5 years since I found the hardcover at a secondhand bookstore for $8

It's hoarding, elevated.

Yeah, he's been on this anti-Canada kick since near the end of his Fox News career. Word was, he'd made a "movie" for airing on Fox News that urged an invasion because Trudeau was a communist. The sooner this propagandist is relegated to the wastebin of history, the better

Yes, because enough is never enough for corporations. No matter how many tax breaks, rewritten laws, and repealed regulations, they will not and can not be satisfied.

Crab walk is sexiest walk

This happens where I live probably a dozen mornings a year, and even more evenings. It's gorgeous, but not necessarily worth a newspaper article. Those city folks really are out of touch with nature, aren't they?

Got 1700hrs in it; 42 bases across a 30+ galaxies. Mines for Sodium, Indium, Phosphorus, Rusted Metal, Sulpherine, Pyrite, and a few more. Built a few architectural wonders, too. Good times

Mariner is the goat. We deserved 7 seasons and a movie!

Barley in the sun. Not pictured: a belly full of sun. Or the sun.

It took 14 months and 53,592 stitches, on 16 Aida cloth!

It did not iron very well.

Cat.

I didn't plant it. I did water it last year when it was just a few random leaves though

The Bromeliad is a longtime resident of this window, but the Ground Cherry seed fell into the pot accidentally and started growing. Guess I'll have more delicious ground cherries soon!

It wasn't my intention, but here it is. Still too frosty to plant outside but it's getting bigger every day.

This also isn't the best pot to have used for transplanting, I have a feeling this thing will be too big in a week.

Advice is welcome. No I won't eat this potato, because it's raw.

Old one got a tear in the front and was leaking water on the floor. Had to take apart a bunch of the machine, and I gotta say that the two seals (inner drum and outer casing) were both tricky to get on properly.

Doing a test load of laundry now, and there's no leaks (so far), so that's pretty excellent

Madouc (or, Maddy for short) is a lovable black void who enjoys food, more food, and music, especially whistling. Also, if you're talking on the phone with your speaker on, she's very, very interested.

The plastic face scratches very easily- I've had to buff out 2 scratches in 3 weeks, so I feel like it won't have much longevity for daily use. It's also kinda loud, and can be audibly heard clicking every single second when you're in a quiet space.

Feel free to drop by

60% completed, should be done by end of year! :D

Got Barley from the shelter a few weeks back, she's 7. All her life her name has been "Harley", but she responds to "Barley" so we're going with it
