Christy Clark is the worst possible replacement for Trudeau, she totally fucked over BC and isn't even a Liberal. The BC Liberals were a conservative party.

She’s one of the worst charade politicians, too. Her creepy perky persona was honed in media manipulation, and her raging evangelical extremism has been hidden pretty effectively. She’s downright dangerous and deeply illiberal. Trojan horse.

Please no. She's not a liberal and her track record is pretty damn poor. This honestly feels like a Trojan horse attempt by the conservatives.

For anyone who might not know, in BC all our parties are shifted to the right.

NDP is more like the Liberals

Liberals (when we had them) were more like cons

Cons are the crazy outcasts who adore MAGA and fly trump flags in Canada.

In the current election, the cons somehow whitewashed their positions with the collapse of the liberals, and went from a nothing party to almost the governing party. People are idiots.

The fact that Rustad's gang of petulent man children, local wackjobs, unrepentant racists, and actual criminals nearly won the election and are governing multiple districts continues to boggle my mind. Who votes for these wholely unqualified charlatans?

Unless that spotlight is labeled "Look at the horrible premiere" it's inappropriate.

BC suffered so bad under Clark that the BC Liberals became a wholly irrelevant political party. This is not someone you want around.

They don't even exist anymore under any name.

Turn the spotlight off please

How about nah? A candidate that would give me more hope for a truly changed liberal party would be a current/former provincial NDP leader from the Prairies someone like Rachel Notley or Sam Beck. Though Chrystia Freeland has demonstrated herself as having some principles to stand on.
