I am sadly reminded of Kenny's remarks right before he was deposed and the true crazies took hold of the UCP in Alberta. I sure hope the BC conservatives don't have another Danielle in their wings, waiting to usurp leadership and send the whole province into a descent to madness.

I disagree on that one. If you listen to Adrenaline and then skip forward to Private music there's barely any resemblance left.

I will agree though that their overall vibe has remained consistent, but I think that speaks to their vision of the band instead of a lack of creativity.

I could not agree more. I understand the original intent, but nowadays it's literally a "get out of fucking over your civil rights - free card".

Thanks for sharing that mindfuck. I honestly would've thought something was wrong with my cognition if you hadn't mentioned it was a test beforehand.

Glad to hear you managed to get away from that situation, and thank you for sharing. I appreciate learning about things like this, and to see that empowerment enabled you to take active control of your life.

Please feel free to ignore this if you're not comfortable talking about this with strangers on the internet, but I've always wondered what keeps people persisting in a relationship like that. It's easy for me to say, but I'd imagine having sex would definitely stop being appealing if it's a one-sided affair. Not sure if I'd have the fortitude to put up with that to such an extent it'd result in three kids.

Please enlighten me if you can, I'm honestly hoping to learn what mindset or circumstances got you to this point.

What a way to tell on yourself there dude.

I have played and beaten both games too often to count, and while they're both excellent the way Mario controls in SMW always throws me off for the first couple of minutes. I can't quite put my finger on it, but SMB3 just feels better, more weighty I guess.

That is the most important bit here. Valve, effectively, launched a new gaming console that just so happens to be compatible with more games than any console out there. If they can use the install base of this platform to force developers to build compatibility like what they've done for the steam deck, this is going to be huge.

Oooh, now there's a fun idea for a sequel/spin off.

There are also several YT videos with trauma surgeons and ER nurses rating the injuries sustained by Marv and Harry. Even the innocuous ones would leave them permanently scarred, most would cripple them for life, and a good couple of them would be instantly lethal.

I struggle with this so much, with any Bethesda game. I start with the intention to just apply some community fixes, then end up with 100+ GB with of mods.

I don't know what causes this, but I think its that subconscious thought that looks at anything in the game that doesn't look right/you don't like and goes "hey, we can fix this".

Reading up on some of the more recent posts regarding VR on Linux, I'm wondering if anyone can give a quick rundown of the actual state of VR gaming on Linux for users of WMR headsets like the HP Reverb G2.

Seeing as Microsoft is about to nuke that entire ecosystem later this year, it would be great if there's a way for people that invested in these headsets to continue using them on Linux, instead of turning a whole slew of devices into fresh e-waste.

Thanks!
