"We did it, Patrick! We made a technological breakthrough!"

A place for all those who loathe AI to discuss things, post articles, and ridicule the AI hype. Proud supporter of working people. And proud booer of SXSW 2024.

AI, in this case, refers to LLMs, GPT technology, and anything listed as "AI" meant to increase market valuations.

Sounds expensive. Just replace them with AI.

Don't temp them.

Boston dynamics would love to strap a gun to one of those dogs and connect it to an llm

"You're right! That was an unarmed brown child! My bad."

Hackable bodyguards? Doesn't sound too bad.

Saint Luigi must have cautioned them

Omg, what I wouldn't give to be in the bodyguard business.

Get some buddies together, offer elite body guard services but require 20 million up front for each guard in a mix of cash, crypto, bearer bonds, gold, etc. get hired by some rich shit bag. Pretend to be his badass gun toting bff's.

Slip them a hot dose one night, let them OD alone in the room.

Act devastated. Claim they demanded privacy and quiet, so you stood diligently outside their door.

Retire from the body guard biz a multimillionaire.

Better yet, continue to get hired... See how many times you can get away with it.

A lot of body guards are ex soldiers and cops who seek adrenaline and don't really care about their own safety...

"I'm a bodyguard. I'm out here, guarding the body."

I'm a bodywash. I'm here washing the body.

My favorite example of compromised security is the assassination of Park Chung Hee.

I love this. These parasites thought their fortunes would buy them paradise, and instead it brought literally terror for their very lives.

They could have been heros, by using their tech to make life better for the citizens of the world, but they chose instead to use their tech to enslave us, and make obscene fortunes for themselves. They chose this path, they deserve to reap full results of their choice.
