I laughed too loud.

The kid is flying through the house like Superman and looks so blasé about the situation

[–] hansolo@lemmy.today 7 points 2 days ago

Meanwhile, a wolf or cat does this and it's "natural."

[–] gon@lemmy.dbzer0.com 50 points 3 days ago

It's funny + efficient.

Kids put parents in boxes. Kid in picture probably giggles like crazy when dad does this. If a kid wants to ride her little tykes bike down her little tykes slide, she’s much more likely to try it first with one parent over the other.

It does. I mean how is it funny if it's not real?

[–] beep@piefed.world 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

It's describing a phenomenon. The image is there only for illustration purposes.

[–] Karl@literature.cafe -1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

It's a fake img pretending to be real tho

[–] beep@piefed.world 0 points 2 days ago (1 children)

In the shitpost community.

Idk man, i would rather not have fake images you can't tell from real ones in my feed.

Cause: a) It's AI. AI is proven to be bad for environment. b) Doesnt matter if its shitpost. I won't mind it too much if it was like a cartoon or something. But when it is a very realistic fake image and you don't mention it is AI that's awful

[–] beep@piefed.world 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

To be clear, I don't know if it's AI or not. Neither do I care in this context.

I am not the original poster.

About your trust in photos in your feed that they are real, you shouldn't trust them.

Everything can be generated using AI. your best bet is to verify it yourself in crucial contexts.

The top reverse image search tools for me are Google and Yandex. If you can't verify it yourself than assume the worst.

Alr, then. My bad

I am a mom, but used to sometimes carry my oldest by her feet, in one hand, squirming like a fish, when she had a fit somewhere out in the world when she was toddler age. The change of perspective seemed to help. That kid also ended up being an acrobat.

My brother always held babies so awkwardly, even his own, it was funny.

[–] boonhet@sopuli.xyz 4 points 2 days ago

My two year old finds being held up by the feet funny so this will sometimes literally end a tantrum with laughter.

[–] JennaR8r@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 3 days ago

I'm a full-grown adult and hanging upside down & doing flips absolutely is my antidepressant & mood regulator!

[–] watson387@sopuli.xyz 15 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I wish someone could carry ME around like this.

[–] Gonzako@lemmy.world 16 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Yeah sorry mate, most I can do is spend years of my life mastering the art of suspension bondage

[–] Gonzako@lemmy.world 7 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Someones getting the hang of it

You may want to call me daddy but i'll always be dad

[–] SuDmit@lemmy.blahaj.zone 5 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago) (1 children)

What's up with the door? Ah, generated I guess...

Are dads like this even?

[–] CallMeButtLove@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago

Possibly, but there's a weird line across his shirt too in the same place. It reminds me of a bad panorama but that wouldn't make sense here since it's vertical.

[–] WhoIzDisIz@lemmy.today 10 points 3 days ago

Just building up the kid's imagination by helping him "fly."

[–] HeyJoe@lemmy.world 5 points 3 days ago

It's like an animal carrying their cubs.

[–] j4yc33@piefed.social 2 points 3 days ago

We used to call it the baby briefcase!

I mean, that's more Uncle energy to be honest....
