My sweet summer child, they would do this is if they knew that there weren't going to be anymore elections. if they're 100% sure they can pull that off then they will start mandatory conscription.
I'm only thinking "Oh great, a convenient way for them to round up all the "undesirables" (liberals, not-whites,critics,etc), execute them if they resist, and send them off to a war unprepared and unequiped so they can be purged in a far less messy way than concentration camps"

I've been worrying about this. They'll use conscription to draft anyone anti-maga to fight and use other nations like Iran to do the fighting. If they resist they'll be imprisoned.

If there is conscription, they're going to use their social media data from meta and twitter, and any way they can, to select those who are most vocal about being against Trump, so that they die first, maga are happy because they dont go to war, and see trump sticking it to the libs. Meanwhile there are fewer libs to vote against him and fight back.
In fact, they'll probably start by sending off those in swing districts, and may even let them vote abroad woth mail-in votes they intentionally dont deliver and cant be sued for doing so.
Wait would that just be training and arming a potential rebellion? That makes no sense.

I worried about conscription after 9-11 when I was in my twenties. I'm too old for this to affect me (I know, "total war"). Let the MAGA youth go get slaughtered. I truly no longer care. Fuck 'em. Anyone who objects, I hope you're safe.

Oh, they'll draft him. In fact, they'll draft him, and he'll rise up the ranks with record speed! All his assignments will be positions like "Army Special Liaison to Customs and Border Patrol." Any role they can find that can puff up his resume while putting him in absolutely zero direct physical danger and requiring next to no actual skills or duties. He'll do photoshoots in uniform. And Trump will solemnly say, "I'm sorry we have to bring back the draft. But I believe this is so necessary that I have drafted my own son into this conflict." Or they'll find a way to fabricate a story of military heroism around him.
Be careful what you wish for. That's what Baron being drafted would actually look like. The only way Barron would actually be drafted and treated as a common conscript would be if he miraculously developed a conscience and publicly denounced his father. That might get him drafted for real.

It's a good thing they have all of our voting data and will be able to target conscription on those they don't like, which is exactly why and how they would do this.

If my life is already forfeit at that point, then everything I do will be in retaliation. A person with nothing left to lose is the most dangerous person. If everyone came with that attitude, it would make anything like conscription a nightmare.
A lot of commanding officers are about to have accidents if they do that.
All of the people I work with regardless of age, gender, race, or bank account are fully wanting a draft to send “libs, LGBTQ, black, brown, etc” people to the front lines to die or war will somehow turn them straight.
Because sending people who hate war to go to war is going to work out absolutely swimmingly, I'm sure. You definitely won't have people constantly going AWOL or refusing orders or, god forbid, organizing as a unit after they've been given weapons and training to kill their superior officers and take the base on home soil for their own.
