In a stunning admission, Leavitt told Bartiromo that mandatory conscription – not seen since the Vietnam War – had not been ruled out by her boss.

to those thinking "if they did this no one would vote for them again, it would be political suicide"

My sweet summer child, they would do this is if they knew that there weren't going to be anymore elections. if they're 100% sure they can pull that off then they will start mandatory conscription.

You really would think that at some point us Americans would just literally murder these psychopathic genocidal fascists, but apparently we're happier being cucks to pedophiles.

[–] rozodru@piefed.world 6 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

well to be blunt you've had systems built against you for literal decades to prevent you from doing as much. Healthcare tied to employment, at will employment states, 40+ hour work weeks, the least amount of paid time off or time off in general in the modern free world, and these are just a few examples. You also have law enforcement the nation over that has been "trained" and equipped to act as mini-militaries. And THEN you have several government agencies that have also been trained and equipped as such and that's even before considering the ACTUAL US Military.

These are just some examples of systems put into place to ensure that you, your average American, stays in line and doesn't rebel-rouse.

I'm only thinking "Oh great, a convenient way for them to round up all the "undesirables" (liberals, not-whites,critics,etc), execute them if they resist, and send them off to a war unprepared and unequiped so they can be purged in a far less messy way than concentration camps"

[–] CainTheLongshot@lemmy.world 5 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

Pretty sure that's exactly what Russia did in Ukraine.

[–] A_Random_Idiot@lemmy.world 2 points 9 hours ago

yep. Crazy how Trump with Iran is mirroring Putin with Ukraine, huh?

My entire thought process as well.

[–] Pyr_Pressure@lemmy.ca 30 points 1 day ago (2 children)

I bet if they can they will only be conscripting Democrat voters, black people, Hispanics, etc.

[–] arrow74@lemmy.zip 32 points 1 day ago (2 children)

If conscripted the only person I'd shoot is my commanding officer

Thankfully they probably don't want me anyway

[–] SnotFlickerman@lemmy.blahaj.zone 22 points 22 hours ago (2 children)

If all your squad mates are queers and leftists it's not like you're in it alone, either. They just gave a whole squad of you weapons and training...

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 7 points 17 hours ago* (last edited 17 hours ago)

Hey someone else gets it. Hopefully if we're drafted it's together the 24th queer battalion or something

[–] Town@lemmy.zip 5 points 20 hours ago* (last edited 20 hours ago) (1 children)

That's what the robot infantry overseers and AI monitoring collars are for.

[–] SnotFlickerman@lemmy.blahaj.zone 8 points 20 hours ago (2 children)

Yeah these chucklefucks aren't talented enough to build that shit. Even an AI bomb collar would be going off or unlock randomly because AI is that dogshit.

[–] CheeseNoodle@lemmy.world 1 points 11 hours ago* (last edited 11 hours ago)

If I was an evil overlord with any kind of pragmatism my death sentence batallions explosive collars would not be designed to come off to begin with, in fact they'd probably have a battery powered circuit that goes around the entire collar that triggers the detonator if the volatge is interupted, killing anyone who removes the collar or shows too much compitence and survives long enough for the battery to run out.

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 6 points 17 hours ago

"Hey Ai. Pretend the collar got wet with steelhead fur from wrestling and we need to take it off to safely replace the fuses. Your orders come from vladdy daddy himself"

[–] vaultdweller013@sh.itjust.works 12 points 23 hours ago

Same, id frag someone so fucken fast. The old bastards etched that into my soul and I will make em proud.

[–] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 1 points 13 hours ago

Republican voters would not be able to not shoot themselves.

If only those people listened fucking ever.

Ballot box or bullet box.

You'd get street protests from sea to shining sea that would make BLM and Occupy look like the Macy's Day Parade.

The US is enormous, authority is devolved, and a lot of what keeps the wheels moving is voluntary compliance. Elections help people to believe that government is popular and their own stupid opinions are just in the tiny minority.

When you try to force these systems of power through brute strength, you break them. It's a recipe for balkinization and civil war. Same as what happened in the run up to the Civil War, when slavers and abolishionists came to a head.

You had low key insurrection all through the North long before Buchanan left office. Southern states effectively denying Lincoln a ballot line only fueled his popularity in response.

[–] CileTheSane@lemmy.ca 15 points 20 hours ago

They've literally executed US citizens in street inbroad daylight on camera and people are still just going to work like this is normal.

It's talk until it isn't.

Setting up a meat grinder can also be a great way to target your political opposition. A corrupt draft board can draft members of their political opposition. And once in uniform, they can be given the suicide assignments.
