Not shilling for Dyson, but I've had two over the past 10 years, and we only sold the first one because we wanted to get some money for it before it maybe stopped working, and we bought a new one on Black Friday. Nothing ever broke, maintenance is easy, the ball really is easy to steer, and they are effective. My only gripe is that with our carpet pile, the suction is too much and I had to modify a little to make it run better. I don't know if it's a design flaw, because my carpet isn't that thick, but I was able to find forum posts with people having the same issue. It could also just be a, we got the wrong model, situation.

My next vacuum, hopefully years down the road, will be a Miele. I just need to start setting cash to the side to it hurts less when I need to do it.

I think as long as it's the "Democratic" party, in name only, these people won't cross the line. Maybe if a far left party were to emerge and the Democratic party was more publicly viewed as the conservative party they are, some people might switch. That I think would unfortunately benefit the Republican party shirt term unless that new party gained traction extremely quickly.

I hope that you're right. I have a hard time believing that a large chunk of these people will change their political alignment because their current ruler and his ilk insult them. If we make the assumption that elections continue relatively normal in 3.5 years and Trump hasn't found a way onto the ticket, I think these people will vote for the next Republican candidate because even though they've been burned, the next guy is different, but he still hates the browns, so they'll continue shooting themselves and everyone else in the foot.

I think best case with the insult victims is they don't vote out of apathy, because I don't think many of them will ever vote for a Democrat.

Obviously he knows that they weren't paid, he's just saying it because the word will spread and his idiot followers will eat that up, because they're fucking morons.

For anyone that thinks he might be telling the truth, who do they think are paying these thousands of people, and how much? To get random people to mobilize, I'm guessing it would take an average of $50-100 per person to make it worth their time. That's a lot of money for one protest let alone all of them.

I disagree that they've all done it under political duress. I think many of these companies have used the political environment to be shitty, and drop something they didn't want to support.

I think it's just like Republicans over the past 12+ years. Once Trump came along and normalized hate speech, it's empowered other wastes-of-oxygen to do the same. They've always been racists and bigots, but now it's acceptable to do it publicly. I try to do my part by calling it out when I can. Silence is complacency, so I'm all in on name and shame in the moment.

I think you're right that he's collapsing on purpose, but I think it's because it's what's best for Russia and it's profitable for the wealthy long term, being able to buy back into the crashed market. But also the control thing too. Just a bunch of shitty things.
