Yup. It's easy to spot when "news" fits these criteria:
- Evokes emotional response
- Too dangerous to ignore
- Devoid of any proof of something that is actually happening or going to happen
- Plausible
The key here is that it's noise designed to wear you out by provoking hypothetical scenarios in your head. This is intended to saturate the minds of the most dangerous opposition of all: The smart and educated. It'll go flying right over the heads of everyone else, but they have other tactics for that.
It also doesn't matter if they say they ruled it out and then do it anyway. Their cult worships them no matter what. I just saw a woman whose kid was murdered by ICE and she still supports Trump. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but knowing how propaganda is supposed to work, I can say it definitely caught some part of my own subconscious, and reminded me of iconic Christian pop culture I was surrounded by growing up. If you're unfamiliar with the poem,
