In a stunning admission, Leavitt told Bartiromo that mandatory conscription – not seen since the Vietnam War – had not been ruled out by her boss.

The motherfucking racist pedo chicken shit draft dodger is seriously considering military conscription, eh. Every single MAGA fuck should be lining up at the US Army Recruiting Office and signing the dotted line for 11B (Infantry).

[–] Mulligrubs@lemmy.world 1 points 5 minutes ago

Sadly, we all have "bone spurs", sorry my guy

[–] BillCheddar@lemmy.world 8 points 2 hours ago

lol try it motherfucker.

I'm old AF and already lived my life. Those fuckers will literally have to kill me to take you kids.

President Bonespurs thinks conscription is a good idea, eh?

Not ruling anything out is their favorite bait, just another way to flood the zone with shit.

[–] dejected_warp_core@lemmy.world 22 points 3 hours ago

Yup. It's easy to spot when "news" fits these criteria:

  1. Evokes emotional response
  2. Too dangerous to ignore
  3. Devoid of any proof of something that is actually happening or going to happen
  4. Plausible

The key here is that it's noise designed to wear you out by provoking hypothetical scenarios in your head. This is intended to saturate the minds of the most dangerous opposition of all: The smart and educated. It'll go flying right over the heads of everyone else, but they have other tactics for that.

It also doesn't matter if they say they ruled it out and then do it anyway. Their cult worships them no matter what. I just saw a woman whose kid was murdered by ICE and she still supports Trump. Also his fans love the Iran war. The propaganda doesn't even matter anymore, which is why it's so sloppy and lazy, because their base will eat it up no matter what. They're have complete faith in Trump. Hell, they'll make up their own propaganda in their heads at this point, justifying literally anything.

I’m old enough to where if I get called things had to have somehow gotten even more terrible. If it comes to that they can lick my fucking taint. I’m not going to war even if the put a rifle in my mouth.

The admin is fully hallucinating if the think there ain’t a bunch of folks like me that would much rather forget their life than fight for this admin.

Fragging is BACK on the menu boys!

I say this as a veteran and an officer.

[–] NannerBanner@literature.cafe 29 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

That'll be fun. If I know I'm going to die overseas, with my skin peeled off or bones shattered, or I can die at home with a few bullet holes, I know which one I'll be choosing. Easy enough to make sure bullet holes magically appear in assholes, as well.

Luckily it's all hypothetical for me. Too old, too sick, and too busy not even having a permanent address :/

[–] mirshafie@europe.pub 9 points 4 hours ago* (last edited 4 hours ago)

Fuck man. I wish the best for you. Home insecurity is a massive drain. The American people deserve so much better than this. From an Iranian.

[–] PissingIntoTheWind@lemmy.world 1 points 2 hours ago

Thank god I’ve aged out of military service and the draft. Plus I’m disabled. So have fun maga fucks!

[–] TheHighRoad@lemmy.world 32 points 6 hours ago (2 children)

It's a good thing they have all of our voting data and will be able to target conscription on those they don't like, which is exactly why and how they would do this.

[–] CADmonkey@lemmy.world 1 points 1 minute ago

I'd also bet that they will make sure to only draft those who don't have a lot of firearms. Makes it easier to drag them out of their house.

[–] IphtashuFitz@lemmy.world 10 points 6 hours ago (2 children)

He’ll probably figure out some way to target blue states only.

[–] cmbabul@lemmy.world 3 points 2 hours ago

He’s really familiar with draft dodging so he won’t be surprised when the majority tells him to fuck right off

[–] SnarkoPolo@lemmy.world 3 points 2 hours ago

They'll do it by Zip code. That will magically eliminate red state white kids.

[–] merdaverse@lemmy.zip 25 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

Why the fuck would anyone want to go fight on the other side of the globe in an imperial war of aggression, when they can use the same energy to fight their fascist government at home?

[–] BanMe@lemmy.world 9 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

Because fuck the libtards? Less vehement than it was before but many of them still see the liberal cause as weak, unmasculine, ineffective, and see the conservative cause as the opposite. People - especially young insecure men - want to identify with Strong Daddy Trump. We can't lose sight of that, doing so is why we lost a generation of young men entirely.

[–] explodicle@sh.itjust.works 4 points 4 hours ago* (last edited 4 hours ago)

Then let's show them the leftist cause. You have no power in society and don't get paid enough because you're not a union man. Band together with your bros and stick it to the upper management who never actually works.

[–] bitjunkie@lemmy.world 22 points 7 hours ago* (last edited 7 hours ago) (1 children)

FIFA Peace Prize laureate former Cadet Bonespurs will maintain peace by bringing back the draft. I hope all the fighting age Z/A males have exactly the life they voted for.

[–] explodicle@sh.itjust.works 3 points 4 hours ago

I hope each Z/A man gets the life he voted for.

[–] AcidiclyBasicGlitch@sh.itjust.works 3 points 4 hours ago* (last edited 2 hours ago) (1 children)

Come on, didn't you hear the language they're using to describe war, like "double tap" 😉? It'll be fun, just like a video game. Except when you die it's permanent.

Come on! Don't be a 😺 be a penguin 🐧

Btw, this is almost definitely an AI rip off of the footprints in the sand poster, right? I know the actual picture of the penguin isn't, but if you gave AI a prompt to use that image and convey blind faith, loyalty, nationalism and Trump as a savior, what do you think it would generate?

Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but knowing how propaganda is supposed to work, I can say it definitely caught some part of my own subconscious, and reminded me of iconic Christian pop culture I was surrounded by growing up. If you're unfamiliar with the poem,

During the 1980 United States presidential campaign, Ronald Reagan used a variant of "Footprints", with himself as the human, as the closing lines in an August speech to evangelical leaders in Dallas, Texas. President Reagan used "Footprints" again in a speech at the annual National Prayer Breakfast on 5 February 1981.

"Stray from the crowd" via conscription into the king's military. Individualism is selfish. Your path has already been decided and laid out for you. So go protect the profits of the wealthy pedophiles destroying America and shitting on the constitution.

Don't think too much about it. This is God's will. It's all in the Bible (if you squint).

You'll just have to trust us.

[–] jamesrandysghost@lemmy.zip 4 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

It's qanon manifest. "Trust the plan" and all liberals are traitors has become literally just the GOP platform at this point.

[–] SnarkoPolo@lemmy.world 2 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

And the insanity of it is, they keep winning.

[–] jamesrandysghost@lemmy.zip 3 points 2 hours ago

It's horrifying isn't it?

I'm torn between wanting full revolution and worrying if that scenario will only cause more death and suffering in the long run...

I worry that anything short of systemic change to the US's political and economic systems will simply reset the clock and we will be right back here again before we know it.

At this point I'm practically an anarchist. Systems of power seem to only beget suffering and exploitation. I don't know what the answer is....but it's not this....
