I'm embarrassed to admit this, but I was probably a part of a small group of older Gen-Z'ers whose primary source of pornography consumption was Reddit. (Embarrassed of using Reddit, not the pornography)
It was quick, easy to use and hide from everyone. From my mid teens to mid 20s, that was all I knew. I've found alternatives now, but they're not quite the same. Hell, not even Reddit is the same. Glad I ditched it.
I just want a fast way to find the shit I like, jerk off, clean up and go on with my life.
its a primary site for OF peddling and its seems any non-ph site has OF material on it. people were discussing on reddit how porn is where they watch all the time. gay/straight.

I’ve swapped back and forth between Reddit and Lemmy for probably a year/year and a half, a month ago I just finally made the full switch. Biggest thing that held me back was the lack of constant content but I’ve just decided to accept it, spent too much time in Reddit anyways.
most of us are shadowbanned, so i can only browse there, one can make an attempt at making an account but it would be have to be not on the same device or ip your using though, but i havnt done that.
Agreed. I still browse old to see what the mainstream narratives are, but I will never log into an account ever again.
Let's not be delulu. Reddit has more information, bigger user base and way more activity. Lemmy is not as big and relevant yet.
And if people are going constantly back to the red outhouse this will never change.

I honestly don't know. But I look for videos and pictures to archive on the Fediverse and saw someone complaining about this ad they saw.

"The government" is (or at least was, not anymore) very stable and reliable, even though you can't get as much as you could in the private sector. However Trump and this regime are notorious for cheating their workers. I just wanted to make that distinction.
