You can build whatever pipelines you want in Alberta, and I doubt anyone would stop you building one to the US if you can find financing for it or finance it provincially yourselves. You sure as fuck aren't more likely to get a pipeline across BC as an independent state or as part of the US.

The title suggests that the attendees were booing the pipeline deal. What they were actually booing was the idea of remaining in Canada.
I can't tell if it's because Lemmy doesn't want good things to happen in Alberta, or good things to happen do to Carney. It kinda feels like it's one of the two canards, though.

The convention is completely irrelevant. The only thing that matters is what conservative voters will do, which is not at all the same thing.
I'm still unsure how I feel about the MOU. At first glance, I absolutely hate it. But if it helps split the wiser Conservative party (watch even the UCP booing and cheering) while still allowing Indigenous groups the ability to say "fuck off, no." Then that to me, seems like a pretty good political win...
But I may have a case of wishful thinking.
