MODERATORS
There are some very accepting organizations dedicated to teaching self and community defense. One such example, but I'm sure there are others: https://socialistra.org/about/
There are a lot of SRA (Socialist Rifle Association) chapters that have classes available. Worth it to look up to see if they have instructors or instructors they recommend if nothing else.
If not classes, some homie who's an ex combat vet who's not certified because they don't want to give the feds or the NRA any money.
I've paid the fascists for their classes and its nothing special. I can save you a Sunday and several Friday afternoons and at least $300 in training with these blog posts I wrote.
Hi! Moderate here, I've had a lot of interactions with both left and right leaning establishments. The fact if the matter is that money is money. If you pay them to train you then they will. That being said, there isn't much they'll teach you that you can't learn for free. If you plan on carrying a handgun you might have to take a course, but youtube can teach you the same or better info. Shooting is a pretty fun hobby if you can find a cheap range.

Honestly it's so contextual I don't think a single person seeing this would read it the exact same way same way in terms of determining motivation and meaning.
Does OP think guns can't be self defense tools? Are they implying they want to use it offensively instead? What does the original author intend?

Wait what? Why?
Well apparently asia is the source of a lot of scraping traffic, and they're an European focused website, so they went with the nuclear option of blocking the entire continent and change. Never mind that as one of the bigger instances on the Threadiverse, they're degrading the user experience for an entire continent. I brought the issue up to them previously, but they didn't seem too concerned about it.
