Patty leans over looking at Charlie Brown in his carpenter clothes stooping over, fiddling with his tools. She exclaims,"You're going to fix the roof?!"

She follows him as he strides off with tool-box and wood in hand, and asks,"But that's dangerous, Charlie Brown...what if you fall?"

He carries his tool-box to his workbench and replies,"What has to be done, has to be done!" She sits on a log, puts her hand to her mouth, and says,"Oh my!"

Snoopy sits in front of the doghouse and along with Patty watch Charlie Brown patch his roof.

Charlie Brown jerks backwards standing on the snow-covered field, as Violet takes aim with a snowball.

He looks at the snowball falls in front of him without hitting him.

She takes aim again as he watches her.

As the snowball again falls without touching him, he smiles. She exclaims,"You wouldn't look so smug if I could throw farther!"

Snoopy sits on the ice watching Charlie Brown ice-fishing.

The latter asks,"It's getting cold, Snoopy...shall we go home?"

As Snoopy exclaims, Charlie Brown stands with fishing-rod and axe in hand and exclaims,"What?"

As he holds aloft the ice he cut from the lake, which Snoopy is stuck to, he concludes,"You probably should have kept moving around..."

He places it next to two other smaller snowballs and exclaims,"There! What a struggle That was!"

Patty approaches, looks at them, and asks,"But what Is it?" He replies,"It's a snowman!"

He concludes as she looks at the reader,"He's asleep!"

Charlie Brown sits outside of the doghouse talking to Snoopy. He says,"Well, I can't say that I blame you any..."

As Snoopy sighs, he continues,"It would be awfully nice"

Snoopy leaps up barking excitedly as Charlie Brown stands up and says,"You wait here...I'll go see what I can rig up..."

Charlie Brown comes across Shermy in the lane and explains,"He's always wanted to live in a trailer!" Charlie Brown is riding his tricycle which is attached to a wagon that has the doghouse, with Snoopy, in it.

He kneels on the ground and with an exlamation, starts to write beneath his name.

Charlie Brown is holding a hockey stick in the living-room and standing next to a puck lying on the floor. He hands a hockey stick to Patty who is standing next to him and says,"Patty, you're going to be the goalie..."

As Shermy joins them with his own stick, she asks,"Where does the goalie stand?" Shermy replies,"Over there in front of the goal"

He smiles as she turns her head and says, "What goal? Oh, I see..."

Patty stands in front of the fireplace with her brow furrowed in concentration.

He stands in front of her as she places her doll in its cradle. She asks,"Why don't you try ice-fishing?" He replies,"Say, that's an' idea!"

He walks off down the lane in his outdoor clothes carrying a fishing-rod. He says,"I've always wanted to go ice-fishing"

He sits on a log on the frozen lake, with his rod resting on the unbroken ice. He frowns and says,"But this is silly! I'll Never catch anything this way!!"

She walks back down the hall saying,"Mom said the You can come in, Charlie Brown...."

Charlie Brown is running towards a big CRASH sound.

Snoopy has crashed into a tree and is laying on his back with all four legs up. Charlie Brown is knelling above him saying "Speak to me Snoopy! Speak to Me!" Snoopy answers back " WOOF"
