We all migrate to smaller websites try not to post outside drawing attention just to hide from the "Ai" crawlers. The internet seems dead except for the few pockets we each know existed away from the clankers

Basically the title, you need to use the skills you have now and be a productive member of society.

I don't mean go back and show the wheel or try invent germ theory etc.

For example I'm a mechanic i think I could go back to the late 1800s and still fix and repair engines and steam engines.

Maybe even take that knowledge further back and work on the first industrial machines in the late 1700s but that's about it.

I download Mullvad VPN but when it's connected via anywhere but Australia i can't even access lemmy via this account.

I couldn't use Reddit either unless I VPN through somewhere in Australia so I assume a VPN won't work to get around these new laws.

This is what's known as a Master 4 module in a LHM550 Liebherr harbour crane.

Earlier this week it was hit by lightning causing the module to output a combined 8 volts out on the can line 3 circuit.

The rest of the module works fine, all functions work except anything related to can line 3.

Can line 3 output is the 2nd white plug port on the top left of the photo.

I know it's probably a long shot but does anyone have any familiarity with these kinds of things?

What's everyone squat for ten reps?

Me personally I injured my back years ago and am very timid on the squat but I'm currently doing 110kgs for ten reps of 3 sets and I weigh 110kgs too. So I'm only squatting my body weight which according to google is absolute beginner trash it seems.

So I have my whole life put pizza in the fridge when it's done, except on the odd occasion where I've gotten drunk pizza woke up to it out on the bench still.

However focaccia and other bread treats get left on the bench a day or two and no one sees an issue.

How about garlic bread? Fridge? I think so but then again I think of those bacon cheese roles that just live on the bench all the time.

I just don't know anymore

I'm by no means unable to read or comprehend text, I'm smart enough for life and people often compliment my intellect. Big tickets on myself I know.

However when it comes to reading anything it often takes me twice as long, just a meme with text or anything.

If I don't concentrate on it I miss words or like an Ai hallucination I put random words into the sentence or muddle them around making things often hilarious for myself until I re read the text to get the actual meaning.

I was rewatching firefly for the Lasseter hoist episode and they described the buildings floating above the ocean as ocean views. It looks like they see nothing but ocean though.

It's the same with Kamino, I think ocean views come from the land and see but maybe I'm wrong
