AI-gret is kicking in. The overstated benefits and claims of AI have been wild. All of this pushed by billionaire shitheads that just want their 1000X ROI while leaving the rest of us in freefall.

If you think about it, if AI fails they don't really care at this point. The companies that go bankrupt because of it will make for cheap and easy fodder for the larger companies to acquire.

They have plans to succeed whether AI does or not. And the only thing that's going to stop them is strict government regulation, penalization, and oversight. That's why the candidate they paid for and cheated to get into office is making it impossible to do any of the above.

They won’t need to acquire the companies; they have already leached their trade secrets.

They can just start poaching customers now and let the smaller business dissolve into nothingness.

The union also alleged that CBA was hiring for similar roles in India, Bloomberg noted, which made it appear that CBA had perhaps used the chatbot to cover up a shady pivot to outsource jobs.

Perhaps

I have been saying this for over a year on here.

"AI" is pretext for offshoring.

You aint go to be a rocket scientists to figure it out. Fake news finally coming around to the idea lol

CBA claimed that launching the chatbot supposedly "led to a reduction in call volumes" by 2,000 a week, FSU said.

...

But "this was an outright lie," fired workers told FSU. Instead, call volumes had been increasing at the time they were dismissed, with CBA supposedly "scrambling"—offering staff overtime and redirecting management to join workers answering phones to keep up.

😐 😂 Get rektttt.

“…we can never trust employers to do the right thing by workers, and change can happen at any time and impact any one of us."

I want everyone in the world to have this sentence memorized, starting at age ten (if not earlier).
