Maybe just...

More seriously: nothing, because the Gulf of Mexico has seen more than enough pollution.

[–] thermal_shock@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago

Bodies good for feeding the creatures there

[–] Kolanaki@pawb.social 0 points 21 hours ago

How about water purification tablets? That would clean the water wouldn't it? 🤔

Anyone who voted yes on the bill.

If we can stop things ending up in the Gulf, instead of polluting it -

Stop fertilizer runoff and disappear oil rigs, move all hotels back from the beach by a quarter mile or so.

If that option is unavailable, Ron Desantis, Rick Scott, Ashley Moody and Beth Bondi, Citizens United, and the gerrymandered voting district maps.

[–] roofuskit@lemmy.world 43 points 1 day ago (1 children)

It doesn't have to be the whole billionaire.

[–] empireOfLove2@lemmy.dbzer0.com 37 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Chunks of billionaire approximately 1 inch across are the best for local fauna to digest effectively.

[–] Lucky_777@lemmy.world 47 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Some would call them "billioun cubes"

Save the heads! We can mount them on pikes as a deterrent.

Those that voted for those that voted for it.

[–] PM_ME_VINTAGE_30S@lemmy.sdf.org 7 points 1 day ago (3 children)

Nah. I'm pissed at the Trumpets too, but voting ain't worth shit.

Be kind to people, be ruthless to systems.

[–] Reality_Suit@lemmy.world 18 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Social contract. I leave people alone until they mess with me. They messed with me and won't leave me or anyone else alone.

Be ruthless to the architects of oppressive and exploitative systems.

[–] logicbomb@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Just in case anybody has doubts, I gave an unserious answer to an unserious question. It was mostly just a turn of phrase.

I believe that violence should basically only be used to stop violence.

Yes, that's why we should stop capitalist violence by tossing them into the sea 🏴🏴🏴

[–] GuyFawkes@midwest.social 1 points 1 day ago

And what do you call what they are doing now?

[–] AceFuzzLord@lemmy.zip 5 points 1 day ago

That would be a large portion of the country. Last I checked, I don't know of many, if any, politicians who voted "No!" when the time came. So unless I'm mistaken and some did, you'd be polluting the ocean and because the average American is like 300lbs ( source: I made it the fuck up ), we'd just end up damming it up and causing devastation.

They don't have to be corpses.

[–] Treczoks@lemmy.world 8 points 1 day ago (2 children)

But then you'll need to weigh them down. Pre-corpsed Republicans is cheaper than chains and weights, but I have to admit that the other method may be more satisfying.

[–] Treczoks@lemmy.world 1 points 21 hours ago

Or concrete boots and a coast with nice tides.

[–] GuyFawkes@midwest.social 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Not if you’re out far enough.

[–] Glytch@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

We start giving MAGAts helicopter rides?

[–] Colonel_Panic_@eviltoast.org 7 points 1 day ago

We had the Boston Tea Party and they threw all the tea into the harbor.

I think we should name this one the Gulf of Mexico MAGA Party and act accordingly.

[–] Zier@fedia.io 31 points 1 day ago

Republicans, obviously. Viva Le Gulf Of Mexico.

Capitalists and the rulers who do their bidding

[–] agent_nycto@lemmy.world 15 points 1 day ago

Why would I pollute the guild of Mexico?

[–] AlecSadler@lemmy.blahaj.zone 7 points 1 day ago

I agree with others stating that the bodies of those supporting it work for me.

So jealous of my UK brethren who can ask this question

[–] FundMECFSResearch@lemmy.blahaj.zone 7 points 1 day ago (2 children)

The UK passed a bill on the same day cutting literally half the support money disabled people rely on and plunging 150’000 into poverty. So people across the pond may be focused on that.

Oh and the fact you can get 14 years in prison and be labelled a terrorist for saying you support a peaceful charity against Israeli genocide.

I am an uneducated American, thank you for sharing this. Really repugnant. This cancer is global and growing.

[–] starlinguk@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

At least they didn't pass a bill that will destroy the environment.

Yet. I think Germany will be the next one in that respect. Fuck Merz.
