It's almost like if you treat millions of people like shit, millions more resent that fact. Who would have guessed?

[–] some_guy@lemmy.sdf.org 21 points 1 week ago (1 children)

There was no way of predicting this. I mean, all those people who showed up to protest? Who would have thought that they were mad? I thought they just had nothing better to do! /s

[–] kautau@lemmy.world 9 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

What do you mean? They are all fake protestors privately funded by the deep state

But not the actual deep state oligarchs of the military industrial complex, they support Trump

Also not the Dark Enlightenment investors that want to see the collapse of nations, they support Trump

Also not the career Dems who are unwilling to vote against anything that would change their way of life of living in wealth while pretending to care about the people, they just voted against another trump impeachment as he nearly took us to war

Also not Israel, he’s their sock puppet

Also not NATO, who basically kissed Trump’s shoes during the summit a few days ago

https://www.npr.org/2025/06/26/nx-s1-5445845/trump-nato-summit

Also not Russia, who spent a boatload of time and effort to get Trump into power knowing the damage he would do

Also not musk, who went off on a drug fueled tangent about Trump that pointed out exactly who he is, and then apologized because his stock went down

Also not not any other billionaire, because the point of having so much money you could never spend it on yourself in a lifetime (though you could certainly spend it on helping others) is to feel superior, they certainly aren’t funding these protestors

It must be that one socialist NYC mayor that just got elected because he genuinely wants to help people

He’s the deep state

Yeah, but those aren't real people ...

^(they are real enough to kick his ass though)^

Who could imagine families ripped apart due to immigration policy

Betting wife made the death threats herself. She just didn't want to share a bed with him.

Must suck to suck.

[–] Nougat@fedia.io 22 points 1 week ago

They should feel fear.

[–] MushuChupacabra@lemmy.world 21 points 1 week ago

Has he tried not being horrible?

[–] Bwaz@lemmy.world 20 points 1 week ago (1 children)

If his wife is anything resembling actual human, this separation is a big win for her.

[–] surewhynotlem@lemmy.world 11 points 1 week ago (4 children)

I wouldn't be surprised if it were her idea. Divorce is immoral. Kicking your husband out for the sake of the family is not.

No peace for those who refuse to allow others any peace

[–] the_riviera_kid@lemmy.world 18 points 1 week ago

Good, he should never feel safe again just like hes doing to millions of other people.

[–] WoodScientist@sh.itjust.works 18 points 1 week ago (1 children)

What the headline doesn't mention is that the death threats are from his wife!

[–] Lemminary@lemmy.world 5 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I wish! But she's the one who allegedly urged him to leave the private sector and meddle in politics once again.

I’m leaving the private sector, going back to a government paycheck.”

He said she urged him to do it anyway.

“She said, ‘You need to go back or we’ll get divorced … because if you don’t go back, you’ll be waking up every day, pissed off that you didn’t go back, and I’ve gotta live with four more years of you being pissed off, so go back and do the job,'” Homan recalled

Man, it must suck to live in constant fear of extra-judicial violence.

[–] BigMacHole@sopuli.xyz 15 points 1 week ago

This is HORRIBLE! Why should this WHITE MAN feel the Same as a Brown Person? It's UNAMERICAN!

[–] BeBopaLula@piefed.ca 14 points 1 week ago

Hopefully the harassment this human garbage received so far is only the opening act.

[–] ape_arms@lemmy.world 13 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Don't be duped. This man feels no fear. He is trying to project himself as the victim when he is the aggressor.

[–] jaggedrobotpubes@lemmy.world 6 points 1 week ago

Of course he feels fear. He knows what he's doing and how sensible people will be horrified by it. Why do you think he tries to act so tough?

The boards of directors firing CEOs for not being evil enough really need to feel the heat, too, long term. Profit is not an excuse to do evil shit.

[–] kerrigan778@lemmy.blahaj.zone 13 points 1 week ago (2 children)

That's incredibly unfair to polenta.

[–] Haus@kbin.earth 7 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Did you know that in some cultures, mothers will eat their own polenta?

[–] don@lemm.ee 4 points 1 week ago

Patton did specify that the polenta was rancid, so the comparison is in fact fair.

[–] BastingChemina@slrpnk.net 12 points 1 week ago

What are we supposed to do, feel empathetic?

A privileged POS is ruining the life of millions of people and oh no ! They said bad words to him.

The worse is that he might be genuine, he probably has been treating people/servants/slaves like shit from his privileged position his whole life without any real feedback.

[–] ByteJunk@lemmy.world 11 points 1 week ago

What do you mean consequences?

[–] Derpenheim@lemmy.zip 9 points 1 week ago

Good, I hope you get shot by an enraged husband whose wife just got deported you sack of shit

[–] NigelFrobisher@aussie.zone 8 points 1 week ago

I hope she finds him.

[–] CobblerScholar@lemmy.world 8 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Always a joy to see how evil scum reacts when they realize that we dont see them as people either

[–] grrgyle@slrpnk.net 6 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I see them as people, just really awful ones.

[–] P00ptart@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago (3 children)

I see them as Vlads yard decorations.

Seems everyone here is thinking this is a win for his wife as if it's not fully possible she's a human piece of trash too (ala Mrs. Stephen Miller).

This shit pile is making millions of people live in fear. He is affecting every aspect of their lives. Their happiness, their livelihood, and that of their families.

I don't believe they should be harmed and wouldn't threaten them with such. But there should be consequences for their hate. My wish upon them all is that not one of them will ever be granted entry to a foreign country again. No visas for Nazis.

[–] FreakinSteve@lemmy.world 7 points 1 week ago

I wish MUCH harm on them all. Do not be humane to Nazis.

nazis should never have a moments peace

[–] noride@lemmy.zip 7 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Polenta (/pəˈlɛntə, poʊˈ-/, Italian: [poˈlɛnta])[2][3] is an Italian dish of boiled cornmeal that was historically made from other grains.

I don't know what I was expecting the word to mean, but I know that wasn't it.

[–] grrgyle@slrpnk.net 4 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Here's what it looks like fresh.

a golden blob of cooked polenta on a cutting board

[–] thefartographer@lemm.ee 5 points 1 week ago

Here's what it looks like old and rancid

[–] explodicle@sh.itjust.works 7 points 1 week ago

I bet she kicked him out just because he's a piece of shit, and he's blaming it on the liberals.

[–] mrslt@lemmy.world 6 points 1 week ago

No justice, no peace.

[–] Rooskie91@discuss.online 6 points 1 week ago

So the guy threatening millions of families now feels his family is threatened?

Lol what an idiot.

[–] RagingRobot@lemmy.world 6 points 1 week ago

Why do we have czars all of a sudden? What kind of Russian shit is this

[–] HasturInYellow@lemmy.world 5 points 1 week ago

Boil all oppressors in their own piss.

[–] orionsbelt@midwest.social 5 points 1 week ago

more of this! Stephen Miller next, please!!

[–] Gowron_Howard@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago

IF I CANT SLEEP AT NIGHT NEITHER SHOULD HE

[–] thefartographer@lemm.ee 4 points 1 week ago (1 children)

The liberals are making him start a second family!

he'd probably deport that one too

[–] MeatPilot@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Oh no! He might have to flee the country.

[–] Tiger666@lemmy.ca 4 points 1 week ago

Just deported him and problem solved. When he whines about due process tell him CICOT is where he will "get it".

[–] Tempus_Fugit@midwest.social 3 points 1 week ago

No sympathy for the orc master!
