One of the guys at work is retiring and the site we're using the put together a card from all of us offered to write something for us. I had to click it to find out what it would say (before obviously removing it and writing something real).
So bloody dystopian.
I'll never use AI for personal communications. In fact, were I a manager I'd keep a close eye on people who do. Why would I want someone on my team that lacks the creativity to at least try to write a quick blurb? Doesn't even have to be good, but creativity is important in all endeavors.
