Fuck AI

"We did it, Patrick! We made a technological breakthrough!"

A place for all those who loathe AI to discuss things, post articles, and ridicule the AI hype. Proud supporter of working people. And proud booer of SXSW 2024.

AI, in this case, refers to LLMs, GPT technology, and anything listed as "AI" meant to increase market valuations.

No, there aren't better ways, as evidenced by it getting enough attention that the pigs had to make up an excuse to arrest her.

I don't think this is the right forum for you to be posting in. You can chortle corporate chode elsewhere.

Ah yes... any disagreement upon the message is of course being a "corporate chud."

Binary people-- would you like to say something for posterity..?

You're either resisting big tech fascism or supporting it. Fuck your half assed criticism of her resistance.

[–] athatet@lemmy.zip 1 points 2 weeks ago

Not any disagreement. Yours specifically.

Bullshit like this is why I left lemmy several months back. Anyone disagreeing is a:

a) pedophile b) MAGA c) fascist d) boot licker (<- lemmy's favorite thought terminating cliche)

Disorderly conduct, such as obstructing vehicular or pedestrian traffic, is not a made up offence. A good lawyer could make this very, very damned interesting though.

"Offense defined.--A person is guilty of disorderly conduct if, with intent to cause public inconvenience,.."

Massad Ayoob regarding a gun law case, "Here we have yet another case of a person dangerously confusing 'how he thinks things ought to be' with 'how things actually are.'" That's you he's talking about.

Now call me a boot licker, that's always the next step.
